I apologize to everyone for saying that America deserved another 9/11. I was not justified in saying this, and I said it without thinking about what others would think. I said it because I thought certain things that only concerned me and my opinion and no-one else's.
I apologize for offending people, and I hope that in the new year, 2004, after Christmas, I will make amends to be a more positive poster on this board and be less offensive
At least there's a purpose for Pokemon...Anne Murray and Celine Dion are hopeless lost causes
(And for Pokemon's purpose, I mean to entertain CERTAIN people)
We could say...
Canada should apologize for Celine Dion
Japan should apologize for Pokemon
Spain should apologize for the whole Iglesias family
France should apologize for Jordi
England should apologize for Oasis
But that's nothing compared to America having to apologize for George W. Bush...
Oh wait, it's not America's fault, it's Florida's fault!
So should we be more forgiving because your apology is rare?????
So we have support for Ted, at least two separate counts of rampant homophobia & now support for terrorism.
Then at a lower level, we have frequent lying, lots of self pity and a whole load of missing the point.
There's an old quote I saw recently
"Better to be silent and be thought of as an idiot than open your mouth and remove all doubt"
and I think this applies especially to you at the moment.
Funny, earlier you said "I'm entitled for my opinion". How can a person change his opinion about a subject like this so fast?
I feel your apology is nothing more than an attempt to "satisfy" certain people on the board.
Hmmm, personally I would find it hard to believe you could be more offensive than you have been, so being less offensive should be a peice of cake!
Just switch brain into gear before you type next time, people all over the world read this, some post, some don't, but the world knows you for what you are with posts like that one.
Dark, have you looked up what "quip" actually means?
I'm not sure what you wrote could ever be described as a "quip". "quivering pile of moose droppings" maybe...
"The weight of this sad time we must obey;
Speak what we feel, not what we ought to say.
The oldest hath borne most: we that are young
Shall never see so much, nor live so long."
What wit! You just don't get that these days.
