As we all know MTV will broadcast highlights of the concert but in many countries the whole event will be aired live and completely on November 29th. Please post information about broadcasts in the various countries here.
In Germany the 46664 concert will be broadcasted live by
ZDF at 00:55 - 3:55 AM CET
Fried Chicken, I hope so too, but I think ZDF is to be taken more serious than RTL 2 and therefore I think they'll be doing a good job on it. Also, there won't be any commercials.
Please also write any information about radio broadcasts here.
I don't know if I can see ZDF here in Italy (satellite?)..
But I can't wait till 1 December...
Please folks if you know other channel that will broadcast the gig live post them!
ZDF is on the European Hot Bird sat, isn't it? I have to check, but I hope it is, so I can see the show also from Italy.
Any further more detailed information will be welcome.
Ha! It seems I can see ZDF! I'm not sure, because this channel is named ZDF but I don't know if there's more than 1 channel (like BBC channels) named that way.
YourValentine have you got any clue?
Andrea, there are several digital ZDF programmes on the satellite like "ZDFinfo", "ZDFdoku" etc. They have logos with the name. If your logo says ZDF, it's the right one. Please remember that the live broadcast is on November 29th, not Dec 1st. MTV will broadcast the "highlights" worldwide but I am sure other TV stations will air the concert because it's free. In Switzerland SF2 will broadcast live.
It is good news that at least here in W Europe/Germany the concert is broadcasted
Niek, be glad that it WILL be broadcasted, it doesn't matter that there is commentary in between. The songs will be sooner or later anyway available
it is just great to look at it, or see the video of the LIVE concert
And you better check out the dutch tv, I am pretty sure it will be broadcasted there as well
Yes, I checked and I found that ZDF can be seen also in Italy, and it is free, so I'll probably stay at home and watch tv that Saturday night! Well, actually I have just to come home before 1 am...
Give me just a confirmation, YV. Today at 18:00 there was a serial called SOKO 5513.
On link the program for the 29th states 'Das Benefitzkonzert zum Welt-AIDS-Tag' in a 16:9 ratio. So I think it is the right channel...
I only hope they won't obscure it during the concert for broadcasting rights...
Red Special, YV doesn't want her true name to be used here.
EDIT: Now it's alright!!! :-)
And Saturn, ok, but without any useless vocal commentary it would be much better - remember the Jubilee? Or maybe they are paid to talk in order to sell the forthcoming dvd? ;-)
The US MTV site doesn't list it on the schedule, and a search for "46664" or "staying alive" turns up nothing...absolutely not a paragraph about the show on the US MTV site ANYWHERE. What's going on?
