To commemorate the 40th anniversary of this show (only a week late, but hopefully worth the wait), this is very likely going to be the definitive version of it. This audience tape isn't far from the master - likely a first or second gen copy. This seems to be the copy that was sent off to bootleggers over 25 years ago (only It's Late ended up on the "Absolutely Rare" LP, as a great sounding version of It's Late absolutely was rare at the time). Inferior copies of the 90 minute tape subsequently circulated.
There are tiny cuts in a few songs that are certainly on the master tape, as it sounds like the microphone cable being jiggled. I've left them intact so as not to disturb the tempo of the song.
A pro shot video of the last two songs came out last year, and I have included an audio rip of them as well.
In lieu of an announcement about a Live Killers box set, hopefully this will fill the palette in the meantime.
Thanks to Ernst from link for the tape, and to the taper, whoever you are !

Also - another transfer of this tape has circulated for a little while, but it was overblown and was missing 30 seconds of Brighton Rock. Everyone should grab this.
Yesterday I was thinking about all those 40th anniversary tapes that are possible to appear...
And now Bob gives us another upgrade of a great 79 show.
Thanks so much to everyone involved

First of all thank you very much Bob for your hard work through all these years, your contribution to the music sharing along with the running of your excellent site is out of words, really
Few weeks ago I noticed the upload of anotother Zurich'79 at thetradersden uploaded by "Lucifer Burns" , the link below: link The source is the same, but the sound differs from your upload and the previous one, higher gen.copy, shared here on queenzone a few years ago. Actually I cant understand is it result of remastering or different transfer.

It's definitely another transfer, and more similar to the old version. The transfer is a bit overblown too.
Stick with this one.
