Hello everyone, for the past 6 months or so I have been looking and gathering up the best amount of footage which is currently available for Queen's legendary last concert in Knebworth which was 31 years today (as of me posting this). Here is the full video uploaded to my YouTube channel as a preview: For this video, I have used the following sources for audio & video; Audio: • Pittrek's 5 Source Merge: link 1. AUD master (Crazy S) - ? - "Thank You All " (Wardour) bootleg - EAC - WAV 2. AUD - ? - WAV 3. SBD master - ? - "Live Magic" 2001 release - EAC - WAV - Cool Edit Pro (speed correction etc.) - WAV 4. SBD master - ? - "Under Pressure" 1999 single - EAC - WAV 5. PRO master - ? - "Magic Years" laserdisc - DVD - WAV Video: • Audience Shot Footage • 'Magic Years' 1987 Documentary- Volume 3 • 'Magic Years' - Early Cuts (David R. Fuller's YT Channel) • 'Rare Live' 1989 • IVT's News Report On Freddie's Death 1991 • 'Champions Of The World' 1995 Documentary • DoRo Unreleased 1995 Documentary • ITV Anglia News 2002 (News Report of Brian receiving Honorary Degree). • Queen Live At Wembley 2003 - Bonus Disc • Queen Live At Wembley 2011 - Bonus Disc • 'Days Of Our Lives' 2011 Documentary - 'From Magic To Miracle' Blu-ray Bonus • 'The Great Pretender' 2012 Documentary • 'A Magic Year' 2012 Documentary • 'The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert' 2013 - Bonus Disc By far the hardest task was compiling these clips altogether and then working out which clips last longer and which clips are better quality. So some clips fade into others and I've tried my best to make sure that the clips 'match up' as some clips' aspect ratio was messed up (mostly 'Magic Years' clips). To give you a bit of an idea as to how this is laid out, here is a brief summery; 0:00 - 5:25 - Pre-show footage which contains (but limited to); •The stage surroundings, audience members walking, sitting around, traffic jam, crate containers, etc. • Helicopter flying over Stevenage and towards the park, the band members walking away from the helicopter etc. • Freddie's vocal warm-up and the band's walk to the stage. 5:25 - 2:00:23 - This is the audience shot footage (which I have slightly cleaned up by making the blacks, blacker and some colour correction to reduce the green hue). At some spots, I have inserted photographs where no video is recorded (I assume it was for a tape flip). 2:00:24 - 2:07:02 - Pro-shot footage of the concert, which includes; • One Vision (Snippet) • Seven Seas Of Rhye (ending guitar riff) (Snippet) • Another One Bites The Dust (Snippet) • Is This The World We Created... • Tutti Fruitti (Very short clip) • Bohemian Rhapsody (Ending were Freddie jumps and salutes) • Hammer To Fall (3 Short clips) • Radio Ga Ga (Last 2 choruses, almost complete) • We Are The Champions (Last chorus, almost complete. This song also has a section with 2 camera angles available, this is done with split screen.) • God Save The Queen (Short clips) Hope you all enjoy, and now; the download links! LQ: link 5.28 GB (680x482 25fps) HQ: link 13.48 GB (960x720 50fps) Enjoy!! -Chin |

Up through Under Pressure now. You've done a fantastic job, the six months of work really shows in an all around wonderful experience. |

I've checked the youtube clip and it looks really great, one very, very minor nitpick - don't know which editor are you using but pretty often after you cut a scene one frame from the next scene is included too, or maybe just one field? But great work and great analysis! |

But great work and great analysis!Yeah, I'm just noticing it too. Not sure why that has happened, it seems to be only when I use clips from the 'A Magic Year' mkv file I have from the Budapest Blu-ray. I do remember even after pre-rendering those clips that it was still laggy and almost impossible to work with on my laptop but on my desktop it was fine. I thought I had it figured out but clearly no :/ Luckily enough it doesn't happen too often during the actual concert and just in the extras before and after. EDIT: I've just watched the output file from my software and noticed on the LQ version (at least) it doesn;t seem to have that issue. Seems as if YouTube messed up somehow? :/ |

Nicely done ! And well played, cross-fading to the audience tape from the Live Magic audio wherever there are vocal overdubs. Staying authentic to the date. |

Staying authentic to the date. That was actually the work of Pittrek, all the audio work was done by him. The only bit I had to fix was Brian's guitar uprising scale mess up in Boh Rhap, which was overdubbed on Live Magic. Glad you like it! :P |

IT'S EMBARRASING that after 31 years the lazy asses of QPL have not paid a single minute of attention to Knebwroth park. Really shamefui.. Last year was the perfect time(Also for Hyde Park) but they decided, yet again, to turn a blind eye...... Thank you very much for all the effort and time put into this project ChinWonder!!! KP is one of my favourite gigs!! |

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far, I really do hope you enjoy this as it's probably as close to a 'real' release we're gonna get. I'd also like to say holy shit, my YouTube video has reached 3500+ views in under 48 hours... wow. Was not expecting this at all... http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e7a2/2dhy6qzsvsv4pmx7g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> Also, haha the amount of Copyright Claims makes me laugh, I don't understand how this video is public but my Tokyo '79, Earl's Court '77 and Paris 28/2/79 videos are blocked worldwide because of one audiovisual claim... YouTube eh? http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/79f9/wf518xpvk90u8pa7g.jpg" border="0" alt="Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire" /> -Chin |

Chinwonder2 11.08.2017 01:22 |
It's unlisted, someone was looking for most of the available track list sheets and I provided a better copy of the 'Champions Of The World' tape. :) Here's the original topic, I just unlisted it so it wouldn't appear in my subscriber subboxes randomly :P link |

KP is one of my favourite gigs!!That's what I was going to say. Fans have to work their butts off to put together bits of a concert because morons at QPL couldn't foresee in 1986 that it would be their last. In all the documentaries that were released in the last few years, all those around Freddie said that they knew he was ill and even Freddie himself said he wouldn't tour anymore. It's beyond me that they didn't have the presence of mind to film the concert in a professional way. There's a lot of incompetence at QPL, starting with Brian May who is a poor businessman. |

Quite easy to explain why QP done minor efforts on this knebworth project: The owner rights for the footage have passed after 20/25 years. Without renewing them, and QP has to pay a lot of money for that, the rights are fully back to DORO which has most of the available footage at the time. A lot of footAge is damaged, lost or not tracable. That means a lot of time and money has to be spent in retreiving this. Also the footage , at least the concert footage , is not that much and interessting enough to look at. At the end QP made the decision to let this knebworth project go. There could be Some footage used for a documentary or something , but that's all We got I'm affraid. |

Mega's daily limit is very annoying. Download stopped at 5 GB and I had to wait 6 hours to download 200 MB, so I simply canceled the download. But tremendous work Chin, people like you and Chief Mouse shoud be hired at QPL...but maybe you two guys are too skilled to work there... |

Sorry about the Mega problem, the only reason I still use Mega is because of their fast upload/download speed and 50GB free storage plan, while most other cloud storage is 10-15GB. |

Any chance of a torrent please? |
pittrek 12.08.2017 16:19 |
Any chance somebody would split it into 1GB rars? I am way too paranoid to buy a mega account, all of the upload servers where I had premium accounts were shortly closed by FBI ... |
Killer_queenIII 13.08.2017 07:47 |
While I agree the 5 Gb limit Mega imposed is a bitch to deal with when you're a free user (learned that the hard way when I have to download Chief's Rock Montreal regrade again after losing the 1st one). Their fast download speed made up for it. That and being able to pause my download, so I won't mind taking my time with the 13Gb copy. That aside, Just from the YT vid alone, you did a damn fine job, Chin! Keep it up! |
