Apparently Brian said the Sydney concert was being filmed ! So my guess is Xmas release ? |
Marknow 26.08.2014 09:30 |
That's good news. I listened to the live online stream and the band sounded great so did the audience the atmosphere sounded great too. Plus a debut for AKOM sung by Roger in place of the bass solo, Should make for a great release if they use this show. |
Cruella de Vil 26.08.2014 09:43 |
Hi there, I'm slowly coming down to earth after a mind-blowingly unreal concert!. Holy fuck, I never thought it would be anywhere near good as it was. The sound was faultless, Roger's drums sounded massive, particularly the toms. The whole band were great, but Brian in particular was an unending flow of magic solos and truly personal charm. The lights and effects were astounding. Without any doubt, young Adam Lambert was just great. While he still can over do the vocal noodling, he has a phenomenal set of pipes. Back in Sydney in 1976 it was my first rock concert. What a pleasure it was to take my two boys to their first rock concert. It was just pure fun and joy.Very highly recommended if you can get tickets. Loved it all. |

And hopefully you'll have a keepsake to remember it :-) |

I was at the show earlier, i noticed a few cameras around/on the stage but I just assumed that they were for the big screens in the arena. |
Marknow 26.08.2014 11:38 |
Makes sense to film it, they have another night to get it perfect for the cameras or they can paste the best of the two nights together. Déjà vu....? |
winterspelt 26.08.2014 11:38 |
I read they are recording the whole tour in UHD using the cameras' feed. |
andyb1968 26.08.2014 12:34 |
Brian apparently told the audience the show was being filmed. |
Rokku 26.08.2014 12:47 |
lol, i think about 1985 show |
Bruno P. 26.08.2014 12:51 |
Yeah, I was definitely excited for a moment. But ok, it is nice nonetheless :) |
GERRYISADICK 26.08.2014 12:53 |
Will it be an aussie exclusive |
Doga 26.08.2014 14:39 |
I was thinking in Sydney '85 too. I thought it was weird film only one song when they could have film the entire gig. But this is good news anyways. i doubt we'll see it this year, maybe for the next summer or '15 Xmas. |

Doga 26.08.2014 14:52 |
Sure the cameras aren't 4K. But you'll be surprised how small can be HD cameras nowdays, only 4-5 cameramen don't mean the show can't be recorded for a release. |

TheWorks84 27.08.2014 06:15 |
Brian said on his Twitter page that the "Video Selfie" he took with the crowd in the background was unable to be posted because he made a mistake recording it or something, BUT said...... "Sorry no tweet of last night's video selfie stick epic. I messed up ! No vid. But we recorded the whole show so you may still see it". So maybe there is a chance for a release. |

I so wish they played Innuendo. I wouldn't care if it's Adam singing, just hearing that music live would be epic. |

Honestly, that version of AOBTD was awful... Such a shame, the rest of the show (at least, what is available atm) I can hear the music was amazing. So far, I think the Japan and the Perth dates are perhaps the best shows... |
