BM has said if you want to be ready for the tour, get your early albums out!
Could this be the tour where they remember their heavier roots and put the over played "greatest hits" setlist to bed?
no. it's just a desperate attempts to ingratiate the older fans....once you've bought your ticket the mask will slip
and it'll be wall-to-wall gtst (s)hits
Glambo isn't capable of delivering the heavier stuff, it'll be the hits, that's what the majority who've never seen Queen live will demand, nothing wrong with that of course, but us long in the tooth fans are desperate to hear the early stuff, and also Miracle, innuendo & made in heaven tracks as well, as they say you can't please everybody.
Maybe KYA, SSoR, Now I'm Here, Stone Cold Crazy, LoML, BoRap, Somebody to Love, WWRY & WatC. Nothing too special i.e. no White Queen, Sleeping on the Sidewalk, It's Late etc. But all speculation: maybe there will be some surprises. Can't help think so many opportunities were missed with Paul Rodgers to do earlier material. And of course the Taylor Hawkins-Roger Tayor stuff would've been great if only Roger had followed through on his promise.
The source was from Brian's Twitter account.
When someone said Liar! He said Don't call me names! (joking)...but he chose to answer it...maybe Liar will make it's way back. While I usually agree it would be greatest hits and I'm sure there will be a lot of hits...it does seem that Brian and Roger are looking back fondly on their American tours during the 70s as this is the "rock those arenas one more time" so I wouldn't be surprised to at least see some 70s concert favs like Now I'm Here, Liar, maybe even In The Lap of the Gods Revisited played...
Some "never played live" tracts would be smart, such as; Fairy Fellers Master Stroke, My Fairy King, She Makes Me, Drowse, you know,, we would be impressed, AND we wouldn't know any better if they made a little mistake or two, seeing we would have really nothing to compare these songs with,.. having never heard them live.
