Sent my The Lot back today for a replacement which Amazon assured me was fault free to be deliverd on Weds.Get email this eve telling me its unavailable again.Does anbody know what the fuck is going on ? Roger must be horrifed that this box set is totally fucked and looks like its never going to be sorted.May aswell just cancell my order,it was not as great as i thought it was going to be anyway.
^ that's horrible: considering your work, and the way you deal so professionally with the moaners, you should've had an instant copy of BOTH versions. SIGNED. FREE :)
You got it today, and that's instant? lol.
Seriously though, I'm still a bit wary of buying this at the moment because the high street retailers who currently have it in stock won't tell you if it's the previous version or the corrected (they're scared of having it nicked). Have you any idea when (if at all) it's more likely that shops will have the correct box? When the "coast will be clear"? So many dates and info being floated around at the moment, it's scary. Cheers for any info you might have Gary :)
Cheers Gary, much appreciated. The problem at the moment is the shopkeepers letting you see the damn box! If I catch as much as a glimpse of "epk" I'll nab it :)

I am informed by Josh that that are different.
GT, I have synched both tracks to each other.
They sound identical to me, exactly the same duration (3:16)
Can you please ask Josh how they are different?
Thanks.
I have now received my corrected version from Amazon Gary.
'2nd Shelf Mix' and 'Extended Version' of Shove It still don't appear to be correctly placed/identified though :-(
It's a shame the box ended up a mess, I was really looking forward to it. Not keen too much on Electric Fire or Shove It although the rest are great. Nice to finally have a DVD of Roger too. Packaging not up to scratch, but we can never really have "the lot".

The audio has nothing to do with us I'm afraid, anything that hasn't been corrected or has been included in 'the lot' was the decision of Josh who works directly with RT.

From Josh = "Murdoch 2011 & Murdoch (nude mix) . . . yes, they're different . . "
^ If this is really the case, then I totally agree.
To feel the need to remaster something from 2011 is going some, and then to rename it 'Nude mix', surely not?
The lack of official explanations is almost as frustrating as the errors themselves.
It's almost like they are scared to fess up to anything!
This new information has put me off the whole thing altogether now. I really did want this product, but put it off because of the errors. Now, it seems that some of the errors aren't fixed because they couldn't be bothered, and some of the tracks are actually the same but with a different title. Feck off. They're screwing us.
^ and they still managed to fuck it up. Even when each and every one of the errors were pointed out. They're a sad lot. But once the money is in their hands.....
That's true, Kurg/VK. Noted today in HMV and Fopp in Glasgow that they had the box for sale, and it was the first edition. Sad that they didn't even recall it.

I tried to make it easy for them to fix the damn thing.
Do you think they have read that thread?
I remember clearly telling GT that if they wanted any help we would be here for them, and he told me that the errors were already being taking care of at that time by team Roger Taylor.
I just have this feeling that these different teams just want to f**k each other hard. The lack of communication between them says it all!
In the end, the one that got f***ed real hard was Roger Taylor - who doesn't deserve this mess, and the fans who bought the product.
They are very lucky to work for Brian, Roger and Jim. If instead of working for Queen, they'd work for the heavy-metal band Manowar, then instead of pissing Roger or Brian of, they would have to deal with Mr. Joey Demaio, the bass player. link
And one thing i tell you, if Joey DeMaio was their boss they wouldn't do such a mess with Roger's solo, and they wouldn't be here in Queenzone with their smart ass attitude, making a fool of all the fans who ask serious questions and get fooled every single time.
