can anybody tell me which kind of brand/model Brian is wearing. sorry for the picture quality. it's the same watch he's been wearing for years. any experts out there?
Brian can wear whatever watches he likes, and you can wear whatever watches you like.
I wonder how he would react if he found out people were talking about a wristwatch he wore decades ago.
sorry for chosing the wrong forum and not knowing what's serious and what's general. haven't posted here before so I didn't think about it...
this was a serious question to me as I'm seriously interested in wristwatches. anybody who's into automatic watches will easily understand my antipathy towards the name "Seiko". Btw this was in no way meant to offend anybody. I do not give a f... which kind of wristwatch you wear. Remeber the interview with Jackie Stewart talking about John's "dreamcar". How could this 2nd class racer criticize his preference for Swedish cars? My comment was nothing but pure sarcasm (I did not understand this strange discussion about GB recently but I well understand his comments about some narrow-minded people here in this forum)
thanks for your gratuitous contributions!
With regards to the comment about John Deacon's car, I think it is not a criticism on his preference for Swedish cars. I think it is a let-down in expectations as he expected rock stars to go for sports cars or luxury cars and not a family sedan type of cars.
Sharing Music Announce forum - which would def. be the wrong choice - and thanks four YOUR gratuitous contribution. What a bunch of smart asses this forum has become...

which is exactly the same expectation that a rock star should wear a luxury sports watch and not a rubbish Japanese Seiko, isn't it?

with the exception of yourself, who - judging by not reading your inability to read the subheading of each forum would indicate you are ANYTHING BUT SMART

Wildly speculative, but I wonder if there could be any symbolic connection with the band's strong relationship with Japan and their Japanese fans? A loyalty to a pedestrian but meaningful watch/brand would be not be unusual for Brian I don't think.

If I had known that I would be mobbed by w...s like you I would have read the subheading I promise!
And if he wore a half million dollar watch a la Rafa Nadal he'd be obnoxious, and an out of touch rock start posing as a man of the people (and animals). Damned if you do...
oh yes if he did so people would realize that they make millions be re-re-releasing the same stuff again and again... forgot about brENsKi and all the other brainiacs amongst the Queen community....
On a whim just now did a quick Google of "Brian May" and Seiko and found a surprising number of conversations about it out there. I guess it is a serious enough matter for watch enthusiasts. link
This one credits Brian with a few comments: link
Hello! Watches have long been one of the best ways to complement your look and highlight your sense of style. Even as a teenager, I began to love watches, because it was they that allowed me to be confident in myself in any situation.
My love for watches has not subsided even now, only I started to wear more expensive watches, such as Patek Philippe watches. If you also want them you should go here
I own a collection of more than twenty watches and almost all of them I bought on this site and for such a long time they still work perfectly!
