Hello I'm new to the site. My dad went to the a kind of magic tour at Manie road in 1986. I thought it would be a cool Xmas present to get him some memorabilia. I was just wondering do you know anywhere to get this from and is there a recording of the concert I can either buy or download? Thanks for any help anyone can provide

Stoned? Is this the sixties? off their faces I think is the hip expression used today.
I'm American, and I hear the term "stoned" all the time, and have never heard the term "off their faces." Just wanted to throw that out there. So right now, where I am, "stoned" is still the hip term
Stoned is still common here in Australia. Baked and loose are also terms that are growing in popularity. Off his face isn't one you hear so much, but it's still known.

A stupid language-related question : I always thought that the term "stoned" relates only to drug-related intoxication. True or false ?
Yup, and almost always specifically related to pot.
"Drunked" isn't a word. And "drunk" is only for alcohol.
Our friend fatty wrote his "shut yer pus - a wee book of Scot slang" which apparently had several pages of words for "drunk" !
