Here's a very important question that hasn't been asked in the QZ forum:
"If Roger Taylor had become a dentist, would he have 'fixed' Freddie's teeth?"
Personally, I think. No.
Definitely NO, in interviews he has mentioned this before. He was afraid that it has consequences for the quality of his voice...
I can imagine that...

Real-time butterfly effect?
I think it simply would have negated much of the world events thereafter...Osmonds being the most likely.
Not to mention a further exagerrated fame for KISS, the Carpenters...and Michael Jackson would have never had the same kind of solo career (stage costume tribute to fred: inspiration from HOT SPACE, motivated Queen to issues AOBTD as a single) that he did...god....all my growing up in the 80's would have been cheap propaganda and no heart. I think there might have been an actual war coming from the fact that people would have been angled by the power structure, unhappy, and prodded into the suggestion that others were responsible for it.
Thank God Roger never became a dentist
Hahahaha I love how something as simple as Roger taking on another career could ultamently change the world as we know it. I bet Roger feels inportant! To be realalistic, if any of them went on to different careers Queen would never happen. Scarry stuff!

Isnt that like everything in life though? At the end of the day thankfully we dont have to imagine what life would be like without Queen because it didnt happen that way.

the Osmonds already had a TV career long before queen existed (from late 50s to 1970),and shot to fame in '71
I think that Queen would had exist somehow, although we wouldn't had some great songs from Roger, plus his high notes,we would have only Freddie and Brian on vocals, and that would be a limitation
