Remaining Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor are working on a new album, with vocals by the late Freddie Mercury. How is this possible? May said the musicians are going through a ton of unreleased demos to put together a slew of new tracks, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
It will be the first Queen album with contributions from Mercury since 1995’s Made in Heaven, which also was assembled using recordings Freddie had made before his death in 1991.
In addition, May told the Daily Star that he and Taylor are preparing a new Queen musical to follow-up 2002’s We Will Rock You. "The songs are there," May said, "it’s just a question of finding time to get the right production."
And that’s not all that’s going on with Queen. On November 6, the rock legends will receive the Global Icon award at the MTV European Music Awards. It’s not clear who will sing with the band, although May has suggested that he’d love to work with Lady Gaga.

Fantastic news , I hope it's true !
I thinks there will be 50 unreleased (demo) songs in the vaults.
So I hope they make a good choice for release.
I also like to hear demo versions of released songs .....in the future....
What's great about this is that these aren't just shit songs. Many interviews talked about how they intended to come back to ideas, but newer ideas just made it more exciting for them than going back to old ones. We've heard some of them in boots etc and it's not simply just left over b-sides. This could be a truly amazing album. Even if i am totally wrong it can't be as bad as sid e1 of Hot Space or Delilah.
Even better news.
They've also been digging up all of John's bad notes... lots of B flats and ill-placed G minor chords and such. They'll run Freddie's vocal through an auto-tune to match said bad notes.
It'll be just like Queen never took a break.
Luckily, developement was much further along at Apple than was believed. Steve Jobs last project was NOT the iphone 5, but rather iFreddie... a robot who sings and "shakes it" just as good as the original.
The tour should kick off next year with no forseeable problems.

Hey hey!!... quit ragging on Delilah... it's right up there in ridiculousness + sentiment with Lazing On a Sunday Afternoon or Bring Back That Leroy Brown... only it's original and not a timepiece tribute.
I love that song... it's effing bloody hilarious.
Hot Space... yeah.... that's a semi smelly one. IMHO worst tracks are Staying Power (its just really awkward), and Put Out the Fire....and.....
just please please please, don't mention Body ...La...
i get sick.
Brian and Roger are searching in drawers for old tracks, it should read that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel in a desperate attempt to bring out a new Queen album. Those old demos have sat there for over 20 years since Freddie died for a reason - they weren't good enough to be on any Queen album. Made In Heaven was a real patchwork quilt of an album and this will be even worse.
OK news, I figure. At least there'll be a new Queen album out instead of the now-useless (and repetitive) greatest hits compilations - I mean, this year QP remastered GH 1. What the godforsaken hell was up with that?!?!!??? Getting back to the new album, every British fan knows that it won't chart at all in the UK if it does get made. Call me cynical, but it won't. I can't even make a guess on what will be on it, but I'm hoping it'll be something like this:
1. I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside (The acapella snippet that was supposed to open SHA) - which crossfades into...
2. The Call (Proper studio version, maybe with redone instruments to give it a cleaner sound)
3. I Guess We're Falling Out
4. Face It Alone (with newly-written verses sung by Bri & Rog à la Let Me Live to go over the long instrumental portion)
5. Let Me In [Your Heart Again] (BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO RELEASED, OR LEAKED AT THE LEAST. PERIOD.)
Well... that's a fraction anyway.
