...I think this is probably Queens best song.
why? perfectly crafted, witty, intelligent, dry, post-beatlesque pop, perfect, brians guitar solo perfect.
thats all.
matty, new zealand.
i could be wrong.
I also like - sheer heart attact (song) ,the prophets song, get down make love, jesus, black queen....their wierdest stuff basically.
Can take Killer Queen or leave it, can't stand Sheer Heart Attack (song), Jesus is growing on me....but absolutely LOVE March Of The Black Queen, which is my favourite Queen track!!! Pleased to meet you :)
Yes, absolutely agree. It's my all-time favourite and has been for 37 years. I was aware of Queen after 'Seven Seas of Rhye' but when i heard 'Killer Queen' for the very first time on 'Top of the Pops' i was immediately cast under an unbreakable spell . Never heard anything like it and Never tire of hearing it.

This isprecisely what happened to myself, as well! I was in the barn, at night, cleaning stalls, and it came on the radio. I wanted to listen to it over and over. The melody was so rich and distinct!

It's one of my favourites. When I first listened to it I didn't understand a single word but the melody was so beautiful and made me dance (I was only 12). Everytime it comes to my mind and I start singing it, then I can't stop, I'll sing it like ten times in a row!
Killer Queen is legendary, (as we all know..) but, I love 'The Night Comes Down' Great vocals, Great lyrics, and an A+ guitar ending ...(Just like K.Q.)
