Date : 27.9.1981 Venue : Poliedro de Caracas, Caracas, Venezuela Another week, another video share :-) This time it's another small upgrade. I received a low generation VHS from ghostwithasmile , transferred it to my PC. I have done a small color correction, and the result was encoded as a 3-pass mpg2 with avg. bitrate 8MBps, the audio is a 384kbps stereo AC3. Since the resulting mpg file was about 7GB, I decided to split it into 2 DVDs. 22 minutes version Comparison to the original eBay DVD shared here : link Video - this video has the same colour bleeding like the old video, and also the strange problem during bright scenes (you will see what I mean when you download it) - that's not an encoding / transfer error , it's how the tape really looks, even when it's hard to believe. - colours - many of the colour-related problems are gone, but all the scenes where the light shines directly to the camera still look very bad (again, you will see what I mean when you watch the DVD :-) ) - my video was encoded with best available mpg2 encoder with excellent 8MBps bitrate , the old DVD had bitrate between 3475 and 4120 kb/s - my video is PAL, the old source is NTSC - my video is definitely NOT VCD-sourced :-) Audio - the old source sounds like it went through a brutal hiss reduction, and sounds extremely bad, I personally think my audio sounds MUCH better, even when it has some hiss - both of the sources allow you to hear just the band, you can hear the audience only between some songs Authoring - That means that some of your files didn't download correctly. All of the files (except the last zip file) should have the same size |

By the way, the flac files are from the clicked version of the hub. That's me who declicked the whole show with Click Repair and reshared the clean version on the hub. I reconigzed it because of the "cr" thing on each file. I must say I haven't locate a better recording of it. I can remember the sound goes up and down on the first tracks. |

Was not looking for any thanks. Just wondering why only this quite crappy recording is the only one to circulate. I don't think the video has the sound which goes up and down. That then the horrible clicks that were on the original cdrs, I guess the tape was really badly transfered. Really hope to find a better one one day. |

what happens is that some links have to wait the download time .. on mediafire is faster, this file has enough seeds and few users, perhaps the reason that the download is slow .... I hope my comments do not disturb . |

I do not understand why there are so many versions of a concert a while ago ..... I downloaded the version queen live in paris 1979 of snowproducciones and it looked bad, then download the same version that came up here and it looked excellent quality. I these references to videos like miltyon keynes concert in 1982 or the concert at Wembley Stadium in 1986 that were recorded by the television and it looks good ... that is why EMI Records does not release official bootlegs all these concerts, as well as did with the Beatles Anthology, I saw the story of Freddie Mercury. I saw excerpts of videos queen in Japan 1979, hyde park concert 1976 or the Sao Paolo in Brazil 1981. I want to see their views on the bootlegs. |

Don't forget that these videos were traded in analogue times for many many years, and therefore many different generations exist. Every time you copy a "non-digital" source (like MC tapes, VHS tapes, film etc) you lose quality. An e.g. 20th generation copy will look and sound very bad. Also don't forget that those tapes travelled all around the world, and were converted between PAL and NTSC (or vice versa) many times ... I hope the stuff just wrote makes some sense :-) |

in some colors when roger on drums, too much yellow, not that this damaged the image of some colors perhaps exaggerated as I said, I've never seen this concert in vhs tape, only the version I Comparison of marknow, because I think that concert when it was released some noise reduction set, lost some, static, pittrek your version is good as it retains some of its original static vhs tape, just saying that some colors are exaggerated |
