Greg Prato, a writer for several sites and mags (All Music Guide, Rolling Stone.com, etc.), just released a new book, 'MTV Ruled the World: The Early Years of Music Video.'
For this book, he interviewed quite a few renowned rock musicians (Stewart Copeland, Rob Halford, Geddy Lee, Hall & Oates, Weird Al Yankovic, Jon Anderson, etc.), and there is a chapter in the book that talks about notable rock band's videos, one such band being Queen.
In the chapter, the videos for "BoRhap," "Crazy Little Thing," and "Radio Gaga" are discussed, and what such rockers as Rob Halford, Todd Rundgren, Joe Elliott, Phil Collen, and Michael Sadler thought about Queens videos. Also, there are 2 pix of Freddie in the book, one from 1974 (from photographer Richard Galbraith) and one from 1983 (from photographer Bev Davies), both of which probably have never been published before.
