I once killed a small monitor lizard in my home. At night, I dreamt that his mother came to look for me. I got such a fright that I woke up in cold sweat. |

One night I dreamt that I was trying to save a lady in white from falling off a cliff. I tried very hard to pull her up but in the end I ran out of strength and had to let go. In the early hours of the morning I heard a loud wail from the flat occupied by an Indian family upstairs. As the morning went on, there were a lot of visitors to the flat upstairs and a lot of crying. I guessed that someone must have passed away. My guess was that it could be the father of the household because I had not seen him for many days. After I came back from work, I asked another neighbour about it and it turned out that the mother of that household had passed away. I had seen her before but very rarely and she was always dressed in a white sari when I saw her. My friends asked me whether I was frightened by the dream. I answered no because I did try to save her. |

I've actually come to appreciate lifetimefanofqueen's sweet, nutty threads. Once you accumulate enough experience life can come to feel like a bit of a constant and valiant battle against cynicism, and through that lens the worldview of a thirteen year old girl can be refreshing and have it's own kind of wisdom. Besides, more than once her silly subjects have turned into decent and fun conversations. Kids are people too. So there! :) |

And how do you go about reckoning how much of a douche I am? I've only ever been a jerk to you because your posts are stupid and your threads are retarded. Note the present tense. ARE. Most of them aren't even worth posting on this forum. Haven't you ever heard of a blog? Get a Tumblr or a Livejournal or something. Nobody's bullying you. This is the internet. That post was kinda uncalled for. |
Donna13 10.09.2010 21:41 |
Who needs to dream, when real life can be so exciting. For example, I once found myself in an elevator with Brad Pitt! And the elevator was going sideways instead of up or down. We must have been at the airport. I had luggage with me so I didn't get to stand too close to Brad. He was in the back of the elevator and I was towards the front. We didn't interact of course, because we were never introduced or anything. But it was pretty amazing. Then there was that time that I was at a party with Johnny Depp. We were making our way through a large crowd and it was pretty cool to have him as my date. Even though, he didn't actually speak to me. Hmm. Maybe that one was a dream. |

I mean at least this stuff is in the "personal" thread, it's not like Treasure Moment or Skip spamming the other threads with crap! |

I mean at least this stuff is in the "personal" thread, it's not like Treasure Moment or Skip spamming the other threads with crap! I never said I hated her posts, I just said that the majority of them are beyond pointless and extremely dumb, even for something on the "Personal" thread. "i hate the jonas brothers." Okay. A lot of people do. "i'm glad my swim teacher's gone, i didn't like her." Who cares? "i hate school plays." Again, who cares? This is why blogs exist (including ones hosted by Queenzone itself, unless that feature has been messed up since I used to use it regularly), not to mention the Random Thoughts thread. New threads do not need to be created for stream-of-consciousness bilge. This practice gets tiring and irritating to other posters, especially on a forum that doesn't usually get new threads but for once or twice a week, like the QZ Personal board. I don't know how the "bunghole comment" could be "OTT" at all (especially since I didn't say "ass" or "asshole" like people usually say when using that phrase ). My point was that a lot of people on the internet have very little patience for people who are obviously under the age of 13 (as I have actually learned, mind) and that few people are going to defend these kids by going "D'awww she's only 11, leave her alone!" No. They'll say "What? Get off the internet and go outside and fly a kite!" |

I do agree with what you are saying, but the one post seemed a bit harsh. That's all I'm saying. I've been on alot of forums (DDD Music, Queenzone, QueenOnline, etc), and yes--I see people below 14 in those forums. Some of them do actually contribute to the topic, and others, just write pointless random stuff! I usually just don't see blunt/harsh comments like that. |

Well, yeah, I agree, there are a ton of great contributors to forums who are very young teenagers. But they're great contributors because they CONTRIBUTE, they don't just post badly written crap that nobody cares about or wishes to read simply because they can type and they have access to the internet. Not to mention they probably also have some degree of maturity, insight and intelligence in their posts which makes older teenagers and adults want to read what they have to say. Even when it comes to randomness. Kids are great at being random and amusing. I'm just saying that "littlekillerham" isn't one of those kids, or at least not judging by the posts she makes. And I know, it's blunt, but I figure if she's already on the internet she can deal with it. And if she can't, she can close the browser window and/or turn the computer off (or ignore me, I don't care). I figure at the very least I'm not hurling insults and curse words at her. The things she does will probably go away as she gets older anyway. |
