Is it me or does Brian fuck up almost all off the songs they performed on this show? It's nice to see him perform, but he is out of shape, guitar-playing-wise. Let's play more guitar and publish/promote less books. I'm not a fan of Kerry but she's got a great voice.

Brian mentioned on his soapbox his fingers were soft and that he hadn't played for a while before the performance, it shows here.
Still, Kerry has got a great voice, lovely version of Save Me.
well, there is a good side, you know. Brian showed a lot of happyness and energy while he was playing...so maybe after that he get more active in music again.
Yes, and I think we'd all much prefer to see Brian playing rather than not playing - and he did seem to be enjoying himelf.
Miss Ellis certainly does have a good voice. I saw he in Wicked, and she was great.

==================================
Kerry has an exquisitely trained voice - her dynamics and control are really amazing. And though she can never completely keep the theatre out of her interpretations, she's better than most stage people. But I don't think she's right for 'Save Me'. That song is about kind of raw and naked and immediate hurt and it's not suited for vocal intricacies and over thinking.
As far as Brian's skill on these numbers goes, I'm not the sort that's going to be able to pick out sub par guitar playing by someone like him unless there's something grievously wrong. I praised his acoustic 'Butterfly' on another thread , but I'm probably too much of a sucker for one man one guitar to truly be an objective judge.
