Over the last couple weeks, I have been searching high and low for the Rock In Rio Concerts. I have found on various torrent/file-sharing sites--both Rio gigs in almost complete form (there's cuts).
The second gig is sourced from the audience--no problem there.
But the 1st night, has sources from I believe the official DVD/VHS (in excellent quality sound), and what appears to be a rough soundboard recording or another audience. I spliced the sources together to make the 1st concert complete.
The reason why I asked, it is because the 1st night has sources from the official source.
Is it OK if I post both gigs as a torrent (I corrected the speed/pitch on the second night)?

Take off your shoes, and show me your hands. You're gonna have to back that statement up ;-P
Seriously, I agree that it would probably not be a problem, but it is up to the people behind QZ to decide.

I think it's more to do with respecting Richards site rules, and less to do with queens royalties.
I think an audio merge is okay, the official release is a VHS tape, not an audio. It would be different with Wembley or Milton Keynes because we do have official audio releases. As long as you do not post the 1:1 sound track of the VHS tape...
All right! I'll go for it!
Let me just fix the endings on some of the songs (due to multiple sources, some songs are thrown on the ends of other songs)!
