I don't think so many Americans and British have died and landed in the public eye since Jochen Peiper decided prisoners weren't such a good idea after all...
Ah! I enjoy "Are You Being Served," it always plays on public funded programme channels and BBC television. XD That's too bad.
I also just learned now that the lady who played Miss Brahms in that same show, Wendy Richards, died back in February. I remember looking at her Wikipedia article a long time ago and seeing that she had cancer that had come back and was spreading to other parts of her body.
The real loss for me was Levi Stubbs. I did a regular 'is he dead yet' check on him last year (as I'd heard he had a stroke) and completely missed his death in the news. What a singer he was.
ive decided that the only thing that will get Jacko's death out of the news is if Mandela pops his cotton socks..
but Thatcher is like a cockroach, she's gonna outlive a nuclear holocaust! but we can all wish her dead cant we?
My big money was on Patrick Swayze, Norman Wisdom, and Kirk Douglas.
You really can't pick these things sometimes, ey.
I TOTALLY called Michael Jackson's death; however, I had him down as dying after the 50 dates.
Olivia de Havilland is another one. Again, I thought I had winners here.
He put a bet on at the start of the year.He bet that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson and the British Prime minister Gordon Brown would die this year.He is now standing to win £150,000 if GB pops his clogs.
But its got to be Maggie Thatcher and Norman Wisdom to go next......everyone has been having Wisdom for about the last 25 years......I think he's about 133 years old now.
and Patrick Swayze seems to have made a deal with the devil if todays pic in the Express was anything to go by.he looks healthier now than he did 2 years ago!
"I'm free, Mr Humphries!" That's so sad, can't believe that lovely Mrs Slocom is dead. And I hadn't heard about Wendy Richards. I only saw Are You Being Served for the first time this year, I got the first 2 series on dvd from the library. Theyre great, and she's fantastic. RIP

have you noticed how John Inmans bald patch in the first series has a nice covering of 'hair' in the second series?
