A question for the experts : If I understood it correctly, the version of Rainbow 74 which was shown in the seventies in British cinemas was much shorter than the official VHS tape, ~30 minutes if I remember correctly.
Does anybody know the exact tracklist of the short version ? In other words, which songs have been added to the VHS tape ?
I believe that at the time of the release it was mentioned that the songs that turned up on the video in edited form plus Stone Cold Crazy were the ones that were 'newly discovered'...

And Keep Yourself Alive, as that was part of the fake "medley". But again, that was a pretty popular song, so would they have cut it ..?
Don't know, but indeed I can not imagine them dropping it realy...
@pittrek: Do you realy want to recreate an edit?? ;-))
Would be much more interesting to make a more complete version - as the edited songs should be out there somewhere. They were supposed to be played at the last Dutch convention, but the owner of the footage changed his mind...
Jeroen - variant 1 - recreating the edit
- variant 2 - making a longer version, correcting the track order, using Son And Daughter & Liar full versions using the complete audio and re-creating video
I don't remember that the actual set list of the cinema version was ever published somewhere. Only an early fan who was in England at the time, saw the movie version and cared enough to take notes could help out with the information.
Personally, I also think that a more complete version would be more desirable than an edit:)
