Live in New York (1978-11-17) FLAC I used 2 sources to create the definitive version of the classic second night in New York '78: the first and The Main source is in B+ quality (But annoying incomplete:Cuts between tracks, and almost every track is slightly cut from the begining) All tracks in my mix are from this better sounding recording (exept 'You're My Best Friend' because it sounds better on second source.) Lineage: AUD > Master > 1st Gen Cassette > WAV > CDR I got it from queenzone WWRY(Fast) is from Sir GH share (same sourse as above) also got it from queenzone the Second source is in B quality (complete, exept fade out after Keep Yourself Alive).I Used this recording to repair ALL cuts in the main better sounding source. The only unrepaired place is after 'Keep Yourself Alive' because it has cut in both recordings. I got the Second source from QueenHub unfortynately without lineage VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: ( in txt document you 'll see lineage for master tape, but the recording i used as the second source IS NOT master tape,it has some generation) My actions: 1st step : Converted to WAV( Trader's Little Helper),Moved to Sound Forge and used crossfading function(normal or fast in). 2nd step: Converted to Flac(8) ( Trader's Little Helper) The result is much more enjoyable listening. CD 1 : 1) We Will Rock You (Fast) 2) Let Me Entertain You 3) Somebody To Love 4) If You Can't Beat Them 5) Death On Two Legs 6) Killer Queen 7) Bicycle Race 8) I'm In Love With My Car 9) Get Down Make Love 10) You're My Best Friend 11) Now I'm Here 12) Spread Your Wings 13) Dreamer's Ball 14) Love Of My Life 15) '39 CD 2 : 1) It's Late 2) Brighton Rock 3) Fat Bottomed Girls 4) Keep Yourself Alive 5) Bohemian Rhapsody 6) Tie Your Mother Down 7) Sheer Heart Attack 8) We Will Rock You 9) We Are The Champions 10) God Save The Queen Enjoy,I hope you like it |

The point of lineage is to confirm where it's been, not to assume. :) |

According to information from your Great site i bet it's the same recording, maybe ofcourse not the master, but the sound is still rather clear |

But like I said, that exact lineage is for my copy, as I got it from the taper. Yours could be anything, because at least one person before you didn't take note of it. |

I bet the ultimate version of this 2-sourced recording could only be obtained this way : 1st - try to trade this one with Bob or whoever has the same version 2nd - do the work all over once again and share ! Many thanks for your hard work ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Yes, unfortunately that would probably be the best bet. |

Can anybody share this with mediafire, please. I don't know why but in the moment I'm not able to download torrents from Queenzone. Thanks in advance W. |

Thanks for this two-source mix. According to SirGH's site Queen brought in hired strippers to ride on bikes during Fat Bottomed Girls on this show, during the end of the song - after Freddie goes "get on your bikes on ride!". |

This is true, I was at both nights at the Garden on this tour and only on the second night did the nude bicyclists grace the stage....a unique moment on tour. I believe Bob's site has some pictures from this event. |

And I missed it with my one year on the world in those days. Dread and double dread and even tripple dread. But there's one light left because suddenly this torrent works also on my computer. regards W. |

Thanks for the upgrade! IMHO - the linage of this project is fair enough, as long as it states that it is a mix of the two (known) sources. Since it is digital mixing (and 99,9% from digital copies of the sources you mentioned), the "x" generation is not significant (anymore). I mean, you did what you could on describing what you used and we almost forget the time and effort you put into it to combine the 2 sources (I look forward hearing the result!)
