Seconding that, but don't worry, it will probably be done a little later ! Thanks a ton for that share !
To help distinguish all the different recordings, do you have a lineage for that one ? or who taped, from what part of the hall, which equipment was used and so on ?

|thank you so much for this!!!! AMAZING SHOW!
Any chance to see Rome 26/09????
|Thanks again, YourValentine. I've listened to the whole recording now. What a great show, what a wonderful audience and – not to forget – what a good recording! It's really clear and balanced, the recorder must have been in the perfect spot (did you do it by yourself?). Brian was totally overwhelmed by the audience' reactions, that must have been a very special night for him (and the other band members of course).
Thank you for sharing this!
|I also listened to it already and it's really great ! Thanks a lot|
|Thanks for the compliments. The concert was recorded from the gallery as far as I know. There are definitely better recordings with better equipment but it's true that today you get good results from the gallery where the audience noise is not so loud but the sound is still good due to the new "banana" boxes which spread the sound evenly through the hall unlike in the "old days" when you needed a central spot on the floor to actually capture all the sound.|

Those 'banana'-style stacked speakers worked in my favour when I was at Roger Waters' show here in Edmonton last year, which I'd recorded. I'd accidentally turned around a couple times to glace at a couple of certain floating objects behind me :-) *oink oink*
You could hardly tell I turned around, really (though I could moreso, cos I knew when I did! Ha!)
Whereas if I was far from the speakers, like at The Police show I attended prior to Roger Waters, you could REALLY tell when I turned (a few moments here and there...)
|Thanks for sharing!|
This is great!!!!
|Thank you very much!!|
