OK, we know there won't be a crazy rolling setlist on this tour, but surely there will be a few surprises and additions, as there were last time. Like :
Under Pressure
Long Away
Tavaszi Szél Vizet Áraszt
Imagine
Teo Torriatte
I Was Born To Love You
Red House
Dragon Attack
So I suggest we all bet which surprises and additions are gonna turn up this time, and see who got closer to the truth at the end of the tour ! This is not wishful listing, we must choose songs that could actually be played. Let's say 5 songs ,vintage Queen songs only, no covers, no Paul songs, no TCR songs.
Here's my bet:
Headlong
Dragon Attack
Las Palabras de Amor (south american tour)
Under Pressure
Heaven For Everyone (sung by Roger)
under pressue (uk gigs)
tavaszi szel (what a surprise...)
dragon attack (south america)
days of our lives
can't get enough
fire and water
we believe
warboys
I can't believe These Are The Days of Our Lives has been dropped this time around.
I think Dragon Attack will resurface (bummer that it's not in from the start)
Headlong
Under Pressure (that was really good on the VHQ Rock Honours)
Teo Torriatte (in Japan)
Tear It Up
Step On Me
Nation of Haircuts
Cyborg
Runaway
Sorry....Actually, I'd really like to hear Paul sing Spread Your Wings or go back to the late 70s and do the "unplugged" Dreamer's Ball.
Me too, I agree, and don't understand why it's not These are the Days..., Dragon Attack and One Vision as an intro. Do you know why?. I hope to watch them with these songs in Argentina!!!.
i think they will do somthing special at liverpool, they havent come here for ages! so i think a beatles number will be rolled out, imagine or sumfin. sad realy id rather them do one of there songs. severn seas of rhye would be amazin, or the hero. were has wishing well gone, and cant get enough, pauls songs are better in my opinion to set fillers i.e magic and break free, good songs, but i think wishing well is alot better, its a rock classic.
anyway my hopes are....
the hero
tear it up
seven seas of rhye
the hunter
innuendo???
that would be amazin to hear, maybe instead of show must go on, althoug paul likes that one. hmm
Hangman
Silver Salmon
It's Late
Sheer Hear Attack
The Prophet's Song
White Man
Somebody To Love
Mustapha
Don't Stop Me Now
Was It All Worth It
Scandal
Innuendo
Headlong

woaaaah !! if that happened some day, the arena would colapse !! it'd be fantastic !!
by the way, my rarities in the set .. believe me, I'm not much demmanding ...just want more songs from the new album (Small, Call Me, Time To Shine, Still Burnin', We Believe, Glitter .. hummm .ok, all of them)
and regarding the classics ..... ok, let's get crazy ... no, I don't mean Roger's song, I mean - let's get crazy and dream a little bit - because it would really be an unexpected rarity that would make us all jump :
I Go Crazy ? Would definitely love it !!! So would I love "Spread Your Wings" !! But I would prefer Freddie comes back on these two songs. Hey, he was back for Bijou, wasn't it ? Why not something like "Liar", "Great King Rat", some really old songs ? And some very old rarities that could be played live, pre-Queen I mean ? Mostly for the real fans but hey, should be a nice move towards us from the band. THAT would be the ultimate show for me, something like, when you go out of the hall, you say "hey, I don't regret the chance I had to saw them live before it's too late !". And what would be nice, as Roger and Brian (at least) are both at ease with that, a good old Rock'N'Roll medley... Wouldn't you love that ? Time To Shine was absolutely horrible in Antwerpen, but I saw Paul had problems with his "headphones", so maybe a problem of tempo, the song was promising anyway in my opinion. We can discuss for hours about irrealistic things, but I attended the show and it was like it was, I don't see them changing it greatly. And the goal still is to promote the new album, isn't it ? Regards, Olivier, Belgium.
