Is there any bands you like to see as the support band at the new Q&PR tour, i mean fairly big bands not shitty bands who get bottles thrown at them and booed off

Pearl Jam would never open for Queen. I'm sure they have way more fans than Queen in the US. I just saw Pearl Jam on Monday, and the place was packed...nearly a sell out, and no one sells out where I live except country acts. I was shocked.
I agree, at least for a possible US tour. If you had someone well known open up/co-headline, whatever, then you have to compete with that band's fans for tickets.
I posted in the Queen News about The Proper Boys, Mike Bersin was in the band Ibex with Freddie prior to the charismatic frontman joining Queen. The former will be playing in his current band, The Proper Boys – which features vocalist Paul Elliott who used to play with Sting.
I think that would be a good Opening Support Band for the overseas tour.......

So you really think they would have a covers band supporting? Get real....and half of the bands mentioned here are bigger than QPR anyway!

No, QPR, would never have a opening band, opening comment was just asked about IF they did....that's all......silly to get so deep into it........because it won't happen......
I was going through some old ticket stubs the other day and found one from 2005 and its says Queen and Paul Rodgers + Support. Bastards, I want my money back.
I heard that too. Lineup:

lead guitar: jake e. lee
drums: Phil Collins
Set list:
"You're My Best Friend"
"Spread Your Wings"
"Another One Bites the Dust"
"Need Your Loving Tonight"
"Back Chat"
"I Want to Break Free"
"Friends Will Be Friends"
"Pain Is So Close to Pleasure"
"One Year of Love"
"Misfire"
"You and I"
"Who Needs You"
"If You Can't Beat Them"
"In Only Seven Days"
"Execution Of Flash"
"Arboria"
"Cool Cat"
"Rain Must Fall"
"My Life Has Been Saved"
Encore AOBTD with Wycliff Jean (featuring onstage execution of Wycliff Jean - first night only)
Encore after 1st night "No Turning Back"
ps After "Misfire" there is a 15 minute John Deacon bass guitar solo featuring the "Deaky Dance" and a rehearsed wardrobe malfunction where Deaky's knob falls out of his early-1980s-style shorts. John then sings the background vocals to Bo Rap. The solo ends when John receives a 10-minute lapdance from a cheap floozy.
Wank Punter!
No, I didn't make them up. They live here: link and judging from free samples, they're everything Paul Rodgers ever wanted to be! :D
*ducks for cover*
