Voting for INNUENDO and HEADLONG on the new setlist. As you all know Queen will tour in 2008. I think, despite of the great concerts of 2005 and 2006, we've missed some good rockin' hitsongs. I hope we can give Queen some good advice by putting these songs on their list for the new tour. I hope the poll will work ! ! ! |

Innuendo.... If Paul dont mess up like Plant obviusly..... P. |
rockyracoon 18.12.2007 23:47 |
Neither. Innuendo is a much better song, but doesn't lend itself well to live performance. Headlong just isn't that appealing to most Queen fans. The boys would be much smarter to include both Under Pressure and I Want It All, two great songs which didn't make it into all their 2006 performances. |

Innuendo... and White Man. |
Jeroen 19.12.2007 07:38 |
Headlong? Nah... Innuendo - YES plus Spread your Wings and My Melacholy Blues Two songs that Paul's voice would definately do justice to! |

I don't think that Paul could pull off "Headlong". V. |

yeah, these two definitely and really, i think they should play A Winters Tale... freddies last song and the best. so please A Winters Tale ! IMO it would be fabulous to see very different setlist from last tour, not just few new additions. |

Whilst I dont really think we can have too much of an effect on what gets played, I for one think Paul could handle Headlong well enough, but Innuendo is above his confortable range, and mine, for that matter, hehe. I think Breakthru is also too high for him, so unless they played in a lower key or whatever, I think it'd be messy. Its Late might be possible, but again difficult for Paul, though I recall not long ago Brian said that this was in an odd tuning and key or something, making it difficult/unlikely to be included in a set. I think White Man could be interesting, if not of broad enough appeal to make it in. Id definately like to hear a couple of things not played for a long time, or indeed never before, from the Queen catalogue, and I hope Dragon Attack gets an airing in Europe this time. Im also interested to hear a few more of the Free/Bad Co numbers like Fire and Water which went into the set in Ireland. Top of my list is probably White Queen - Id love to hear Brian revisit that on guitar - it was always so epic live - a real showcase of how he can make the Red Special sing - he doesnt often play that way anymore either. I imagine Paul might struggle to deal with the somewhat 70's prog-esque lyrics though. Ultimately, I'll look forwards to hearing what they want to play! |

Perfect choice. Paul could do that well. On Earl's Court version Freddie even reminds me of Paul a bit when he does that "and when she cay-ee-yaaaame" lol! I'm sure Paul could learn to appreciate the medieval poetry of those lyrics. |

Innuendo, no doubt. |

yes i go for innuendo because brian may has played headlong on his solo back to the light and another world tours. innuendo has ony one time played at freddie mercury tribute in 1992. at that moment robert plant did²nt sung innuendo in a right note. i personaly think that he could do a better job. if plant has another chance he would sing it better. i only want to hear paul rodgers sing innuendo. i think he could sing it too and it belong in the new tour and they could scrap borhap because that’s a freddie song. in 2005/06 they handeld the song in a right way and i hope this year that borhap issnt in the set i vote for innuendo. greetings |

Starting a petition is a waste of time. The band will decide for themselves what they will play! |

Headlong is actually one of my favourite songs... but i guess everyone is entitled to their opinions. Some people think She Makes Me is fantastic, but i can't stand it! But i do like innuendo. But it doesnt matter in a way because i cant go to the concert anyway coz its on the other side of the world. :'( |

As long as 'more me' means including Bad Company, Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy and Seagull on the setlist every night instead of Break Free, Magic and LOML, I'm all for it "Paul"! |
BradJarre 17.01.2008 14:32 |
Im also in fot it,It is a shame that they didnt played more songs from the miracle innuendo and made in heaven. |

Not yearning MIRACLE/INNUENDO songs that much... would prefer them to dig deeper into 70-s output... DRAGON ATTACK sounded awesome in States- it would sound equally good in Europe... |

Really, how many Queen songs do you want to hear him add "HIT ME WITH YOUR HEART AND WITH YOUR SOUL" to? *ahem*. Anyway. I'd love to hear "White Man", if he toned down his excessive blues trills 'n' stuff and just focused on a killer delivery of it. I have to hear the new album, of course, before I decide whether or not the tour should be mostly new material. Who knows; it could leave me begging for the Magic setlist.... heh. I'm optimistic, I know Brian has good music in him yet. |

"It's Late" would be really great!! It would suit Paul's voice quite well I think, and it's just a wonderful song. Of course, Innuendo would be a real pleasure to hear live. But in the end, Brian Roger and Paul are the only ones who can decide about this ;) |
