For curuoseity , when they play god save the queen in the concert's end , is it because for they love and the pride for there country, or it's because of the similarity with the Band name?
I think it's for the band name but also because it marked very clearly the end of the show. The fans knew there was no need to call for encores, the band would not come back.

I think I read years ago that at a gig around 1974 when the band were late coming on (as usual) the crowd starting chanting God Save the Queen.
Maybe that gave them the idea!

It's also a type of convention associated with concerts. It is considered customary for brass, wind bands & orchestras et al, to finish concerts with the national anthem, maybe its also an extention of that as well as a pun.
