I think I may have written the EVH entry.
I approached the whos who stuff (especially for the more independently well known people) as a sidebar - I imagined that people would usually get to these pages via a link on another page, and therefore while plenty of people might say "who was Peter Straker anyway?" and click on it, not that many would wonder who this Elton John geezer is and what else has he done.
So I put everything relevant that I knew about Peter Straker, and wrote something fairly basic about EVH.
While I respect the cut and paste biography of same, I wouldn't want to use it without crediting whoever it's been cut from - I also made a point of checking who wrote the Record Collector articles that are included and crediting him. I'd also feel obligated to include a similar level of detail for EVERYONE - which would be less practical for some of the more obscure names (is John Harris, boy racer to the end, still alive?).
Finally, I'm thankful that EVH is the example that attracted all this hostility. It could have been worse...
Oh shit.
2500 posts and my first "new topic"/"reply" error.
Well, we all know intelligence is not my first language...
(for those that can't figure it out, this belongs just after Microwave & Lester make up in the Queenpedia thread).
