Lindsay Lohan, who just finished a second stint in rehab for substance abuse treatment, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Tuesday, authorities said.
Lohan, who is already facing a drunken driving charge in Beverly Hills, was pulled over near the Santa Monica Police Department after authorities spotted her car chasing another vehicle, said Sgt. Shane Talbot.
Authorities conducted a field sobriety test and then transported Lohan to the police department.
The 21-year-old actress was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of cocaine, among other charges, Talbot said.
Police found cocaine in one of her pants pockets during a pre-booking search, Talbot said.
A call to Lohan's publicist was not immediately returned.
I'm not surprised at all that she's messed up again but I am surprised that drunk, high rich people don't just pay for a limo service or something to take them home when they are wasted.
Common sense? No? Yea, probably not.

I doubt you could hire the limo service to chase another car though. That is why she just had to do it herself ;-)
She was chasing another car? I hadn't read that but that makes things even more psychotic.
I remember a time where the actors, actresses, and singers/entertainers/people with some talent, (NOT Paris Hilton or Nicole Ritchie or some other socialite that is famous for nothing other than how many purses she has or how many sex tapes she has out), in Hollywood were respected and maintained a respectful public persona. I know what they did behind closed doors was not angelic but atleast it wasn't put out for the world to see, young teens, or young adults to see and mimic. I guess it is just not cool anymore to be aware of your behavior or try to act like a normal human.
I don't know whose fault it is. I find it hard to blame the media bc obviously there is a demand to read about and see pictures of famous peoples' screw ups, cooter shots, etc.
Pretty soon there will be no more "stars" left to make movies or songs bc they will all be in jail for multiple DUIs, cocaine possession, etc.
Its a wonderful life.
I think what's happening to Lindsay Lohan is awesome.
I mean, if she had one bit of talent I would at least hope that she would focus on her career, but Lindsay happens to be that kind of actress whose only accolades are Kids and Teen Choice awards. Not much of a promising actress we're missing.

I'd prefer it to be a silent video, really. No video whatsoever will profit in any way from having either Paris or Lindsay (or worse: both of them) providing the soundtrack...
