in my further attempt to educate the masses or drive them completely mad heres a little question to keep you occupied for 5 minutes over the bank holiday weekend if youre bored.i will give the answer on tuesday,so you wont lose that much sleep over it. in the early 1950's a tokyo watchmaker went to India carrying something in a smallish box.He returned some 13 days later as the first japanese to win an international title for about 13 years.Never again did he compete at world level and there are many who would claim that he was instrumental in changing a sport forever, not necessarily for the better. who is this person? have fun! jox |

YourValentine wrote: Hiroji Satoh that was just too easy to google :)haha! bloody google :-] well done! ok,another maths one then, coz i know you all love them :-] using mathematical logic which number comes next in this sequence 1 64 243 256 125 36 ? and if thats not enough for you here's another cracker. which school selected a song as its school song some 15 years before it became the national anthem in that country? |
YourValentine 25.05.2007 15:26 |
1 64 243 256 125 36 the next number should be 7, correct? the school song which became a national anthem later should be the anthem of Malta but it was not a specific school - it was the primary schools - according to google:) |

Well Michael Jackson and Robbie Williams both play for Blackpool, but not sure about the Best and Pele connection. I can only assume it's one of those celebrity charity matches, the Best being the walking STD that is Callum. But I can't see MJ playing football... |

Believe me I've tried! Meta searches the lot even with the actual name of the school I've got nothing. I got the number sequence right by googling but didn't have a clue what i was looking at so didn't post! Likewise I got Panama but couldn't get the school - I truely don't believe the info is on t'internet. If no-one can prove it then I shall be forced to 63336!!! |
