In the States (at least here in NYC) they will have Cold War Kids as the opening act. I can't think of a better opening act for Muse than Cold War Kids other than perhaps Wolfmother. 'Hang Me Up To Dry' is a helluva kick ass song. |

Muse rules. Matt's mom is apparently a Queen fan, he revealed this on an Australian TV show where he sang "We Are The Champions". |

Are there any other US/Canadian dates besides the Chicago Lallapalooza show? Actually, this MSG concert isn't even on the official Muse website. Where did you hear about it, Jingles? This would be a good place to state why I hate the North American mainstream, and all the garbage we have. Just look at the line-up for the '07 Isle Of Wight festival at Wembley: Snow Patrol The Feeling Muse Wolfmother Keane Paolo Nutini James Morrison It's being marketed as the "Super Massive Lineup"... I love it! Those are just the ones I know... the ones I don't know (Kasabian, Ash, Amy Winehouse, Arno Carstens, and The Fratellis) are probably fantastic too. I couldn't name three US/Canadian artists I like at the moment. |

Hey Bob The MSG show has been confirmed at the Garden website: link and link and there's even poster ads in Manhattan: link The band's management will most likely do the official announcement in the next days. Another date has been announced for the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre at Sterling Heights, MI (quite close to Detroit) on August 2nd. The band then will be playing at the Loolapalooza festival on the 4th. Chances are that other dates on the North American East Coast will be announced soon. So hold on because Toronto might possibly be one of them. |

Sadly, many rock fans lack a lot of respect for others, and they certainly don't give a shit if you've been waiting since early in the morning.Mr.Jingles wrote: I GOT MY TIX!! On section 78!! I wanted to wait all day just to be in the front row. So we did. We stood there for hours on end, and yeah...we were in the front when the Foos came on, but we were crushed, kicked, hit in the back, had beer spilt on us, and some skinhead guy said he was going to kill Pieter after the show. LOL Needless to say, we got the hell out of there before the show even ended. RIDICULOUS! I decided then and there I was too old for general admission. :-P I suppose it didn't help that alcohol was served for 8 or 9 hours straight before they came on, and I really wasn't cool with the fact that they didn't pat anyone down for weapons when we went in. This was our view: link This was the crowd: link |

linkMy Chemical Romance and support act Muse deeply regret that they have had to cancel several dates on their current tour due to members of My Chemical Romance band and crew and members of Muse’s crew being struck with serious food poisoning. The nationwide tour, supporting My Chemical Romance’s platinum album The Black Parade and Muse’s album, Black Holes And Revelations, was brought to a standstill on Sunday when several members of My Chemical Romance’s band and crew and members of Muse’s crew became violently ill after the show at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, VA. With multiple people scattered in hospitals between State College, PA and Columbus, OH, the bands were forced to cancel Sunday night’s show at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA and postpone the show in Columbus, OH from Tuesday, May 1st to Wednesday, May 2nd, provided everyone has recovered. The show originally scheduled for tomorrow night at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA has been cancelled. My Chemical Romance and Muse would like their fans to know that they hope to resume the tour as soon as possible. Tickets for the April 29th Bryce Jordan and May 2nd Pittsburgh show will be refunded at point of purchase and My Chemical Romance hope to make it back there before the end of the year. |
