Guys, WHat is going on? Are you aware that "Bohemian Rhapsody" is listed among the top 40 songs that "changed the world" according to "Rolling Stone"? No Way! Since when did RS decide that Queen had an impact on music?!
Who in the hell even cares what Rolling Stone has to say? I hate the critics. It's all about individual interprations and such. If you can't make up your mind on what you find to be decent without reading a magazine then there might be problems in that little inadequate brain of yours.
On a lighter note, yeah, Rolling Stone magazine praising one of the greatest rock and roll artists of all time to which they claimed to be one of the worst acts of all time previously. I would like to know who got the number one spot and so forth...anybody willing to give us the list, or is this too illegal for you all?
P.S.
I was not insinuating that you (Freddie fan lady or whatever your name is) cared what critics had to say. It was a general kind of thing, not a "point my finger and make accusations kind of thing."
The list was chronological, so there wasn't really a "best". Bo Rap was selected based on its impact on music videos.
And yes, for Rolling Stone to give Queen credit for anything at all is incredibly hypocritical. They should stick to their Britney Spears interviews and leave any discussion on real music to the British mags like Q and Mojo.
I remember reading a Rolling Stone review of Britney Spears which said that she was a "true child of rock n' roll" for her "fantastic cover of the Rolling Stones' Satisfaction"...lol

How could they forget I Love Rock 'n' Roll??? That is blasphemy! hahahahahahahaha!xD
They had all the members of Pink Floyd on not long ago too for the first time...many of us PF fans were kinda pissed and refused to buy it, since that's another band Rolling Stone has always belittled.
Which is the dumber decision, for Rolling Stone magazine to not put Bo Rhap on this list, or to put them where they did at #40?
I think they should have left them off instead. That way they look like they forgot Queen. Putting 39 songs above it communicates that this is Rolling Stone Magazine, the biggest joke in music journalism.
