Hi, this message is for L-R-TIGER1994 or anyone who has them-
I'm trying to access the MP3 files you posted of the Long Island '78 Queen show, but they're no longer available through the MediaFire link you posted. This show has tremendous sentimental value for me as it was the first concert I ever saw (I was 9 years old!). Lucky for me, it was Queen!
If you could point me to the files, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
Well the files have been removed cos I uploaded it a long time ago as you see,now I got some problems with my conection and lack of time,if you can wait till the first week of september I will post it again.

I downloaded this in my early days of collecting and was unaware of the differenences between flac and mp3, and I have been looking for a lossless copy for a while, but i'd be happy to email them to you (my email in profile), the sound has been severly comprmised because the mp3s are encoded at 128 kbps, but anyone with a lossless copy i'd love to have it because it is one of personal favourites
That would be fantastic, Jose. You can access my e-mail address through my user name here. I'm not entirely sure if my e-mail account can handle such a large amount of files, but I'd sincerely appreciate you trying. If it doesn't work, I can wait until September if L-RTiger would be kind enough to repost them.
Thanks to you both!

I sent you an email, by the way my real name is Joe, my username josedequeso is an inside joke with my buddies
I tried uploading this to mediafire as one big file, and I waited around for an hour for it to upload and then at the end the damn thing said there was a 100 MB limit right now, so the file didn't go through but anyway now i'm uploading it into 4 parts. Like I said before, I DO NOT CONDONE MP3 SHARING but this is all that I have, if any one has a lossless version of this please share it link link link link
Got 'em. Thanks very much, Joe. Do you happen to know if that recording is an audience bootleg or is it a sound board mix that's just been degraded over time and from being crunched down to MP3?
Best,
Chris

The Long Island show is a distorted audience recording - even on the master copy. It's probably the worst-sounding recording of the tour - and probably the best performance.
I guessed that was the case, thanks. Too bad, since as I mentioned earlier I was at that show and it would have been great to have a sound board mix of it. Still, I'm very grateful to Joe for uploading it for me. It was a treat to hear it.
