However with the way the RIAA is I dont understand why people are still downloading music illegally using peer to peer software.
He should actually be rewarded for illegally downloading Dave Matthews Band.
Paying for such crap will only guarantee that Dave Matthews will make more crap albums.

And now you know why they are doing it...it's all about the money baby. They are loosing it from the internet, so they better get it from somewhere else. Suing those responsible for the lost revenue works, never mind the fact that they are charging absolutely OUTRAGEOUS prices for CD's that are cheap to make, but that's as much the artists and record companies fault as anything else.

I doubt suing people makes them any money. Legal fees + research + sheer quantity of petitions + etc. only helps to abate piracy (or so they think), and probably does nothing to regain lost revenue.
