Now that this is in the correct forum, what do you guys think of Wolfmother? Can't bitch about me being in the wrong forum now, eh? HA HA!!!! (just checked my spelling - I know people get BENT OUT OF SHAPE about this, too).
I thought the same thing after I heard Woman. But you gotta think, it's hard nowadays to not 'rip off' other bands. I do think that Wolfmother is refreshing and I hope to see them one day.

I actually thought Woman was a Zeppelin song when I first heard it.
He's no Robert Plant, I'll say that much. I really don't like the sound they put on his voice.
Well, they're playing over the road from me in a few weeks, I'll tell you what the audience thinks. Ha-ha.
Where's that? Subiaco?
Keep in mind I'm making up that you live in Claremont and I don't know where Subiaco is in relation to Claremont.
I am not entirely unimpressed by Wolfmother. I know particular person who hates the living hell out of them but they're drunk.
Hey, does anyone know of a site for Wolfmother that is like this site with pics and shared concerts?

They really do sound a lot like Led Zeppelin, but, as Hadrian said, basically everything nowadays is a ripoff of something else. Let's just be lucky they're ripping off of a good band and not off of whatever band started that craptacular style of music that's popular today.
And, although the lead singer is in fact no Robert Plant, you have to admit the similarity between their voices is definitely there.

Hmm.
I don't really hear it, as such... the Wolfmother guy sounds like he's singing into a fuzzbox most of the time!
I really would rate them in different leagues as singers, but evidently that is just me!
That rocks..or..Eastern rocks!
What is it you've got in your mouth anyway?! I must knooooow!
AC/DC...eh, not too bad. Y'know what I sayin'? Thunderstruck (movie) was, and I believe Zebonka will agree with me, horrible and made a mockery of Geoff Gallop. har-har.
Wolfmother are good in small doses!
