Thanks, Bubu! If you look carefully, there are lots of bootleg videos of the first performance of this song, live in Japan. There's also a 10-min-long video from a TV show, with a "semi-live" performance of both Vertigo and Window in the Sky. :) |

I wanted to buy this song from Itunes, but Bono and his greedy buddy Steve Jobs say I have to buy the entire U218 album in order to get the 3 new songs on it. FUCK EM'! I can't believe these douchebags have the nerve to ask for charity help towards Africa while ripping off the fans. I do believe that fans should support their artists by legally paying for their work, however it makes me sick when they want to cash in on the popularity of the band and make them pay for the same stuff twice. Can someone send me an mp3 of this song as well as 'Smile', and 'The Saints Are Coming'? my e-mail is: dan_aldana@yahoo.com |

Boo frickety hoo, so you didn't get exactly 160 replies all saying 'nicely spotted'. Life does not have a script, you can't cry 'retard' when people don't say what you want them to. I actually liked the video somewhat, and I did concede that it was better than the usual dreck.... ain't that enough? Nicely spotted though. |

This is because I would view my album as a complete work, and having a person just download the most popular song(s) off of it would give them a very superficial view of the entire product that I want you to hear. It's like I painted a painting with a variety of colors that each were significant to the work, and people just wanted to buy it in black and white because it's cheaper that way. |

U218 is actually a compilation of hits which the average U2 fan quite possibly owns already. This is the main reason why I was so pissed off at the fact that people would have to buy 15 songs they already have just to get the 3 new ones. Which makes it even more stupid is the fact that all the old hits can be downloaded individually, but not the new ones. |

iv noticed a very large pattern here,... this has been in the time iv spent at a U2 forum instead of here everyone, or nearly everyone on this board HATE bono, for the reasons from what i can see 1-they want to believe Freddie is the best and will remain the best (i know he is) 2-They think bono is trying to knock Freddie off the number 1 spotlight 3-they hate U2 becuase U2 is now the biggest band in the world my opinions:- 1-Bono does not think he is not the best singer in the world, he has admited at some point which i will dig up off the u2 forum, he has admited not being the best and freddie is number 1 2-U2 is now the biggest band in the world, sorry folks, but Queen WERE the biggest band, now they arent but are still the most favourite 3-Bono is not trying to take number 1 spotlight, he just wants to make music, tour with the band and make lots of people happy 4-he IS a charity worker, yes some things seem off about it but hes done a hell of a lot for Africa, more than any of you could ever do. So if i were you guys i would grow up over this bono hating business, he likes Queen as much as you do, proof? this last tour he snippeted We Will Rock You many many times during Sunday Bloody Sunday-Bullet The Blue Sky, to be blown away by the audience clapping there hands as if it were a Queen concert. To use some Queen footage in there latest video tells you something else Hes not trying to fight or be Queen, he is trying to show his appreciation for them, like he shows it for other bands, by snippeting some of the greatest songs into there own, everyone picks them up and loves it. iv made my point |

"iv made my point" Barely. You're illiterate. And your reasons for people 'hating' Bono are all wrong. U2 aren't the biggest band in the world, financially or in terms of good music.... that gong goes out to the Beatles. U2 only win the 'our members aren't dead yet' contest. Nobody here pokes fun at U2 because of insecurity or jealousy that U2 are taking over the world spotlight, because they *aren't*. Hell, half of The Who are getting more coverage where I am. And they haven't even been here. Nope; people only make fun of Bono because of the reaction that it gets out of U2 fans. It's remarkable that you play into it. The idea that I'd expend energy 'hating' Bono when I've never even met him... is preposterous! |
