So i just got back from trick-or-treating (who says its just for little kids ;> ) and i was, of course, Freddie! I also got one of my friends to go as Brian. I was quite proud of myself...until three people asked me if i was Hitler. It had never occurred to me that i made my mustache too square. Bu thats ok, b/c other COOOL pple recognised me! one guy, as soon as i walked up and said "trick or treeeeeat!" yelled, "SING A SONG!!! ANY SONG!!!" lol so i did Crazy Little Thing Called Love. much fun.
So anyone else go as Queen members? or anything interesting??

I dressed up as Freddie from "I Want to Break Free" at school.
I didn't Trick-or-Treat since I felt sick and didn't feel like walking all around while being that nauseated... :P
One person knew who I was without asking - my Spanish Teacher.
didnt dress up this year, but my moms best friend kept tying to get me to go as freddie, and some VJ on a music station here dressed up as freddie, but he did a TERRIBLE job! LOL!
i went to a 'rock n roll party' as Gene Simmons and met my other band members!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and we all went trick or treating and scared lil kids who tried to nick my wig!!!!!!!!! :):):)

The custom of 'trick or treat' probably has several origins. Again mostly Irish. An old Irish peasant practice called for going door to door to collect money, bread cake, cheese, eggs, butter, nuts, apples, etc., in preparation for the festival of St. Columbus Kill.

The history of "Trick'O'Treating" can be traced back to the early celebrations of All Soul's Day in Britain. The poor would go begging and the housewives would give them special treats called "soulcakes". This was called "going a-souling", and the "soulers" would promise to say a prayer for the dead

So glad to find out I'm not the only insane person here...I did a real cool Freddie, with whith hand-made waste-coat, and this pair of tight, shiny, red ballet tights.I painted on a mostach as well. Manneged to win first prize at a costume party, so how cool is that?
