It's freely available in DVD form on the Queen Hub, which Queenzone strongly supports and links to. They're a bunch of cocksucking hypocrites actually :)
I guess not. They like to have an outward appearance of not sharing anything official these days. A few years ago it woulda been ok to let fans in other countries enjoy something that was only released in one country. For example, we openly shared all of the karaoke mixes.
But then paranoia set in and stuff like that is only shared privately on the hub.
I'd like to share my fan mix of Champions of the World. Remixed from VHS to DVD with fan-made menus and everything. I think it qualifies as much as cutting the vocals from a song and posting it, but they're just all mixed up on what's safe and what's not.
I shouldn't have called them cocksuckers though. But it felt good at the time.
It just amuses me how the rules are so strict about even linking to official material, yet the hub is linked to heavily and I know from friends that tons of official stuff is shared there :-P
Oh, and I'm not just a whiney non-fan complaining because he can't get stuff for free on the forum. I've bought practically everything Queen/Freddie that's been released and in many cases, multiple copies because I enjoy collecting the real items. With my most recent order of alternate versions of two items I already had, (the final Japanese card sleeve I needed and the karaoke CCCD set) I just passed the $2000 mark in my spending on Queen.
Woolworth's is great. I used to get underwear there.
If the initial information was correct, this new UK version has downgraded the audio from PCM to Dolby Digital. What a shame. The Japanese DVD I have is pretty poor in terms of presentation, but at least they give uncompressed audio. Though the mix still sucks.

Obsessive stalkers of the Spike Edney "cult" will love the "keyboard extravaganza", I'm sure.
