I've always wondered why it seems like 90% of piano players are fucking virtuosos and 90% of guitar players are fucking terrible. I guess a lot of it has to do with a severe lack of parents who make their children take guitar lessons at age 4. But it is an interesting difference to note. |

Kiddies, they're not called blisters, they are called calluses. "I've got blisters on me fingers" was yelled by Ringo due to having blisters on his fingers caused by drumming. The calluses can fall off, but the skin will grow again and will have adapted. Sooner or later, you won't develop calluses and you won't feel a thing. When I first started playing guitar about 14 years ago, God I'm getting old, I did develope callouses on my fingertips. After a few months I didn't develop anymore calluses. Tip for you guys, play electric guitars, or classical guitars with a very light gauge, the higher the gauge, the more it hurts! Also use "Finger Ease Spray ", it's a guitar string lubricant and it will help. |

But over the summer i didn't play much and then at the beg. of sept. it hurt when i played, but now it's back to normal xD I haven't heard of the spray ..o0oo0o0o0o..my guitar used to have a really high gauge, then my teacher told me to get it lowered and ever since then it's so much easier to playyyy! xD |
