Invitation from the Queen Fan Club Mexico:Sleeves & photographs exhibition
Hello,
Good news from Mèxico. This year we are celebrating 25 years since Queen last played live in our country.Besides, we would also like to join the several events to commemorate Freddie's 60th birthday. So a series of events will be held such as an exhibition of Queen 7" single sleeves (not so common in our country nowadays) in the very famous music market "Tianguis Cultural del Chopo" next and 21st October 2006 from 11:00 to 15:30 hrs. This is the last date for this event.
Some colour exclusive pictures from the Queen concerts in Mèxico will also be part of the exhibition, they were taken at that time by one of the attendants, and now he gives us the opportunity to take a look at those wonderful moments. He was a founder of the Tianguis Cultural del Chopo himself.
Free entrance.
Check our messages for future events in our country.
Best wishes,

Entrada libre, no faltes.
Estèn pendientes para futuros eventos.
Saludos.

This person first apologizes for not having time to translate this to english but he/she knows this is aimed at fans in Mexico. It's another invitation to the exposition of single and LP covers that is taking place in Mexico City to commemorate Freddie's 60th birthday and 25 years of Queen coming to Mexico. He/she then tells a story about how they almost lost some suitcase with essential items for the exposition or something.
I wish someone did some kind of event like this in Monterrey, Mexico. I can't go to Mexico City just to see it, hehe :). Maybe you need a Monterrey branch of the club? hehe :)
See ya,
Juan Carlos Wiley
Is a complete Mexican queen discography available at the Mex. Fan club?
I'd like to have all informations about Queen 45 issued there. Especially as regards Bohemian Rhapsody. I have an edition with picture cover which has the 1982 printed on the back. I wonder of also the first issue from 1976 came with ps. Any help?
Awesome review of the concert, and recollection of the feeling of being a Queen fan in Mexico in the early 80s. But you were so far away, so you don't know what was happening by the stage. It was not nearly as peaceful as you remember from where you were sitting. During the encore, people were throwing things at the band. That's why at the end of the show, Freddie said, "Thank you for the shoes!".
