I have a large collection of Queen music in flac, mp3, video and dvd formats. How large? 105GB on the computer and a shitload of cds and dvds not on the computer. I used to be a regular on here, as well as the Hub and the other forum. But life moves on and so did I. I still love Queen, but I have no time for collecting anymore. Anyway, to the offer. It's all yours. Whoever wants it can have it. Simple. But that means you have to do the work. Anyone who wants to rock up to my place (an hour north of Brisbane in Australia) with a portable hard disk can have the lot. No problem. Just don't ask me to spend hours copying and posting etc. I don't post on here anymore, and will not waste time uploading. Just search the forums and you'll see I did more than my fair share of sharing. And I want to continue giving back to the Queen community what I got from it. It's just that I'm too busy to do much about it. But if you're ever heading to the Sunshine Coast, email me, and we can surely arrange something. Have a good day. Anyone emailing me with requests that fall outside of these parameters will be ignored. |

Hi, I live in England and I can't afford to visit you (as much as I'd love to). Can we make some other arrangement please? Failing that, could you possibly put your harddrive directly online via an FTP? I hate to sound ungrateful but I can't see any other way. There's noway I can afford to get there and even if I did, I'm still a very busy man, like yourself. Thanks for your offer but I'm sure you understand my position. |

You can share your entire collection on emule! Or at least using some online stuff! Also you can send me a ticket for your house I come to you! :) Cheers ALe |

It's not fair :( The offer is only for aussies.... |
The Fonz 23.11.2006 03:30 |
if only I'd read this a few weeks ago - I just spent a week in Noosa. |

Considering all the stuff djaef has shared here, this offer just might be worth the trip. If only... V. |

What a magnificent offer....but Got it all from here in the past eh... In that case ,take out the lossy mp3 & video stuff & you'll probably be able to post it all on rapidshare in a single zip file hahahahahaha (sarcasm humour) |
dysan 23.11.2006 06:10 |
Is sarcasm humour? |

As for a ticket, how about you send me a ticket to your part of the world, and I'll bring it all with me :) <font color=silver>Logan wrote: It's not fair :( The offer is only for aussies....No, this offer is for anyone who is physically in Australia. There is a difference :) The Fonz wrote: if only I'd read this a few weeks ago - I just spent a week in Noosa.Bugger. That's unlucky. 928 wrote: What a magnificent offer....but Got it all from here in the past eh...Thanks 928. I like sharing the love, what can I say... I probably got about 1/4 of it from here. Mostly on the hub, and from trading. And dysan, I suppose sarcasm is a form of humour, but it's generally a particularly nasty one. I took no offense in any case. I am going to Denmark in a few weeks and I'm taking my hard drive with me.... that's a bit closer for many of you. How keen are you anyway? But seriously, I think it's a great excuse for visiting Australia myself. And bedsides, this is not a time limited offer. Come in a few years, and it'll still be here waiting for you... As I speak I am copying my stuff for Steve, from Liverpool who is visiting some people here. Thanks for the wine Steve. That was a lovely gesture, and bloody nice wine :) I hope you enjoy the collection, and share it onward... |

I have a friend in your area (I'm in Melbourne) - I may get a portable hard drive to him and get him to go around and zap it from you. btw, I just looked at your bio - You've been a fan for a while.... "1678, after the Dorog concert" 300 odd years! Great going ;) |

If i was to offend people it would be aimed at the trade polluting, lossy, bean sucking ,reed warbling sharing members who cant tell quality from a poke in the eye...lol. Even the lossy stuff is encoded or ripped incorrectly. Anyway, Next time i visit my sister ,i may give you a bell & get the 1Gb of non-lossy from you...lol Cheers |

Sorry for the delay in replying. What I was suggesting was you get a website with a link that allows people to download from your harddrive as opposed to a server. This way people can download without having you to upload it to a server. Having said that, the downloading may be a little strong so you may want to make a few mirrors, that is a few other copies of the harddrive to spread the load. Any queies, please talk to a local computer technician. Hope this helps. |

Hello again djaef. Just arrived back to sunny Liverpool. Thanks again for your genorosity. Some real gems among the collection and at least my girlfriend won't continue to be a collectors widow - well for the time being at least. Really enjoyed the Sunshine Coast and Noosa is certainly a jewel of a place to live and work. Oh and I hope you managed to salvage something from your exhibition. Best of luck and bon voyage for your Danish Christmas. |

Penetration_Guru 09.12.2008 02:49 |
Try reading ALL of the first post, see if the answer to your question becomes any clearer. |
