I would go for Robbie Williams....Oh the pain just saying his name! LMAO.... I also dislike rappers, many of them because it's all about the money, bling bling, girls, cars, booze. Not a good way to project music I would say. You see them use women in they're videos like pieaces of shit. Sorry but that's my views on that. Who's yours? |

Fake singers/bands. I don't even know if she's counted in the Music Industry yet but I dislike Paris Hilton. Just another thing to add to her bank account, fake voice, little whore. |

The whole issue about why people like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, or Hilary Duff get record contracts is an absolute joke. It seems like as long as you're popular and well known, talent is completely put aside. It sickens me that so many talented struggling musicians work their asses off to be heard, and then these fuckin' skanks come along with a shit voice and get millionaire contracts for being famous. |

I hate the music industry itself. That is, all the record labels, corporations, etc. that manufacture popularity and control the industry, all while shutting down all hope for the real talent. I know that the industry is all about making money, but way back when they used to make profits through popularity and talent, not the other way around. Capitalism is great for the economy...but terrible for art. |

well rap and hip-hop are better than rock , but hey that's just my opinion....even though it's true *cough* yeah, artists who talk about women in a bad way, money and non-sense, drinking...blah blah blah....we need some real singers....like from the 70's and 80's. Today's people don't know what real music is. |

The wanks that says they "loose" money due to downloading. That is bullshit. They don't loose anything, they simple dosen't get the money. No income, no outcome. But they could be richer if we buight their crap. Fucking greedy wanks. They get enough money. And I don't really like rap music. I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. |

People who wimpify (I like that word!) music, like James Blunt and Coldplay. Rap and hip hop, now that stuff really makes my blood boil. And yes, I too despise Robbie Williams. And did you know that only one of the girls in the Pussycat Dolls actually sings? Now that's a joke! Reminds me of Boyzone, when they were around. |

Ah, i love these topics. So many people spouting off on who they believe is complete and udder crap in the music industry today. Here's my views on it: all the fake-ass rockers, the ditzy female pop singers and the overrated rappers these days are complete jokes in my book. Paris Hilton? She can't sing, let alone act or do anything worthy of human existence. Why are we paying attention to her? Ashlee Simpson? She lip-synched on Saturday Night Live, and was booed off the stage at the 2005 Orange Bowl (college football), yet is still a very popular singer. It's almost like they're saying, 'yeah, you lip-synched, but we're still gonna buy your music and go to your concerts, because we're a little *mimicing Carlos Mencia* de-de-dee!!!' It sickens me that she is still a singer. And another thing: rock music these days has become softer and softer with every passing year. Bands like Dashboard Confessional, Keane, and all these other groups are seen as 'alternative rock'. Listen, alternative rock was very different about 10-15 years ago. Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction, Nirvana, and all those bands were (and still are) key players in the advancement of rock music throughout these past couple of decades. It's sad to see what it has become today. Rappers? Fuck them. I remember a time in which rapping was all about letting your voice be heard; standing up against moral and ethical standards put into place by the government. Public Enemy, LL Cool J, and Tupac were responsible for making rap as big as it is now. It's not about uprising and rebellion anymore; it's all about big cars, bling, money, bitches, and 'grills', which are the platinum and diamond caps placed on rappper's teeth, turning their mouth into a jewelry store. What the hell is up with that? As I have been for the last few years, I find my only sanctuary in the music of days long gone. Beatles, Led Zep, Bowie, Rush, and, of course, Queen. |

FreeSpirit328 30.06.2006 01:20 |
Music today sucks! All of it I think I had said this somewhere before, but if they stopped using all synths, it might sound a lot better. Music today sounds so...artificial. Real music was popular once. I think it can be again. You know, "everything old becomes new again." |
INXS 30.06.2006 05:47 |
