I've never found informations about this point: who play keyboards on MIH album?
Only informations I have are:
Freddie plays piano (original takes) on IABD, MIH and IWBTLV
Brian plays main keyboards on TMLWKY
but for all material recorded in 1994 and 1995.
Do they use instrumental parts from 1991 with Freddie.
If someone knows something on this...
Let Me Live is definitely Freddie's playing style. My Life Has Been Saved keyboards come from John's original '87-'88 demos, but with updated sounds. Most of the rest is programmed, and surely the synths on 'Winter's Tale' were by Freddie.
Thanks for your help, however I find the piano style in MLHBS largely in Freddie's style (knowing freddie had already played piano in john's song like spread your wings or only 7 days).
I largely agree with you for LML, maybe the piano take come from the session from 1983 with Rod Stewart...

the session from -83 with Rod Stewart? This might shed some light on my "Let me live-thread-question"... Is there an early version available somewhere of this song or is it just a recording locked in a vault?
Of course we can:
Beautiful Day - Fred's piano + programmed synths (the oboe thing was John's idea)
Made In Heaven - Fred's piano + programmed synths (are there synths there anyway?)
Let Me Life - Fred's piano + programmed Korg M1-organ
Mother Love - Brian's M1 strings + Brian's M1 piano
My Life Has Been Saved - John's played/programmed keys (probably taken from the same mid as Miracle sessions).
I Was Born - Fred's piano + programmed synths
Heaven For Everyone - Roger's demo'd synths + additional programming
Too Much Love - Brian's demo'd synths + additional programming (note that the piano isn't an acoustic one, but synth-generated)
You Don't Fool Me - Roger's and/or John's synths and programming
A Winter's Tale - Fred's Korg M1 synth
