Okey, a little idea. Think of your rock concert with several guests (like Woodstock), think bout their setlist. And it all has to be possible! You can't let like Queen play Innuendo in 1987. But you CAN let Queen play in 1989, although they stopped touring. But you can't let artists perform when their already dead :-P. Okey My idea: Hyde Park 1970 Again a view days of pease and a protest concert against the war in Vietnam. Artists may decide themselves how many songs they want to play. Day one: The Doors 01. Twentieth Century Fox 02. People Are Strange 03. Tell All The People 04. Soft Parade 05. Alabama Song 06. Light My Fire Jethro Tull 07. A Song For Jeffrey Janis Joplin 08. Work Me Lord Janis Joplin & Jimi Hendrix 09. Summertime Jimi Hendrix 10. Wild Thing 11. Voodoo Child 12. The Star Spangled Banner 13. Hey Joe 14. Improvisation 15. Little Wing 16. Purple Haze Jimi Hendrix & Bob Dylan 17. All Along The Watchtower Bob Dylan 18. Subterranean Homesick Blues 19. She Belongs to Me 20. Maggie's Farm 21. Love Minus Zero 22. Outlaw Blues 23. On the Road Again 24. Bob Dylan's 115th Dream 25. Mr. Tambourine Man 26. Gates of Eden 27. It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) 28. It's All over Now, Baby Blue 29. Like a Rolling Stone 30. Tombstone Blues 31. It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry 32. From a Buick 6 33. Ballad of a Thin Man 34. Queen Jane Approximately 35. Highway 61 Revisited 36. Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues 37. Desolation Row 38. Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 39. Pledging My Time 40. Visions of Johanna 41. One of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later) 42. I Want You 43. I knew u would react, and not liking Dylan and Cream doesn't mean i have a lousy taste in music, i'm just not completely deaf. xD And come on 30+ songs Dylan 'singin' live? :D I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy. He wrote great songs, but he can't sing. |

Bob Dylan should have stood in front of the White House during the Vietnam War era singing protest songs non-stop. I could picture Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon saying... "OK, OK, That's enough!! We'll pull out the troops tomorrow and put and end to this war, but please... SHUT THE FUCK UP!" |

Awww, this is gonna be hard... Jim Morrison won't be able to perform with Queen or Billy Joel, or a bunch of other cool people, for that matter. I'm gonna bend the rules, or else the concert would be crap. 1976 ( I know this is unrealistic ) First Day: Queen!! Yeeees! Don't Stop Me Now The Night Comes Down Fat Bottomed Girls Jealousy Killer Queen Liar The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke March of the Black Queen Love of My Life White Queen Brighton Rock Lily of the Valley Lap of the Gods ( Revisited ) Bohemian Rhapsody And now... Led Zeppelin!! Boo yeah! Socialist drummer? As far as I'm concerned Roger has constantly mentioned that he despises the left and the right. More particularly both extremes of the political spectrum. Brian makes political criticism without taking sides, and seems rather non-partisan. John wouldn't even open his mouth for music matters... leave alone politics. ...and Freddie tried as much as he could to stay away from having politics involved his music. |

That one's got socialism written all over it. If you read the posts on Brian's Soap Box regarding the world, all of them are libertarian. John was a-political, as was Freddie, as you yourself said in your post. |

...But seriously; Dylan is one of the most influential singers of our time. He has sounded very different throughout his career. Ofcourse you don't have to like him, but don't think he can't sing. Oh, he can... If you're interesting in this diversity I would recommend: Sweetheart like you - from INFIDELS John Brown - from Bob Dylan Unplugged Tangled up in Blue - from BLOOD ON THE TRACKS Not Dark Yet - from TIME OUT OF MIND |
