I like them for different reasons. Hm... I like Brian with tighter curls, not so much the very messy look - a little too bedraggled for my taste. I prefer Freddie with long hair, but I think he would look too hippie-like for Queen (or just in general) with long hair AND a moustache. And I love the moustache. A lot... I only found one picture of him that I think makes him look "u---"... That's the picture that my brother and I joke about Queen falling on hard times and having to open a used car place (Freddie's the mechanic, John's a salesman, Brian's the owner, and Roger looks disturbingly like a very lost lesbian.) I think this is disagreeing with everyone, but I think John looked best during Jazz. His long hair, especially live, looked a wee bit "grunge" for me. Roger... who always looked good. |

definitely 73-75, when they all had the long hair. deacon especially, looks so much cooler with the long hair. with the short hair, he reminds me of martin short.(martin short rocking out the bass guitar with queen?) and freddie too, looks cooler with the longer hair, and before his mustache, even if he did look a little like a transvestite. |

I liked all the looks, from the 70's to the mid 80's, they always looked good, freddie in my opion looked great for the magic tour. of cours roger was a cutie, now with age and some lines they have grown older, gracefully. i liked 73-75 the best. i wasnt crazy about the 80s when they cut their hair off (save for Brian. THANK YOU BRIAN!) and Freddie got a moustache. i just have a thing against facial hair...but Freddie is an exception. then 91 was good, when he shaved it off. |

Aw, it's_a_hard_life you're so lucky you get to meet them! As we were leaving the concert their limos were all lined up out front but we couldn't stay 'cause my uncle had a broken collarbone and was in a lot of pain... so he really wanted to get home. Tell us how it goes! :) |

Oh I like how they looked around 1978. But I think Brian looked the best in the early '90s. He really let his hair get long. He looked good in the mid '80s too, when he finally started to put on a little weight. |

I like Queen during their "A Kind Of Magic" era... They all look great.. Freddie with his moustache and short curls.. Roger with his shorter blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes.. Kind of Magic Tour Why? Not that I care anymore about the reasons why, but I was always glad for Freddie's band-leader(marching band) look. The reasons why were because of all the teasing jabs my friends would give me, knowing how big a freak I am about Queen, when they would see flaming Freddie stage clothes, particularly the old checkered leotards. I don't care anymore because for one I am 32 years old and totally secure about my Freddie worship, I show it openly with pride. And two, they wore the jokes into the ground years ago. Just to be a good sport, for halloween about 5 years ago I went out as Freddie, but I only went so far as the '86 Wembley look. That being said, those cool Japanese shirts with the massive sleeves(Kimonos maybe?) were bad ass! |
