I put it in an online translator and it came out as:
"Also Queen let their singer not rest, but give to us new material from his throat. Brian May is gestolpert recently over singing photographs of Freddie Mercury, reports the British DAILY star. These are again to be mixed and supplemented now, so that actually on new songs from Queen to is to be counted."
I feel I understand even less now.
It's cool that recordings of Freddie still exist, but I don't want this to turn into another Made In Heaven deal. Once is enough.
I'm not saying it's bad, but trying to revive a band whose frontman died 15 years ago is just not worth it.
Then again, it worked for the Beatles. In 1994 and 1995, the three remaining members created new tracks to go with vocal demos made by the late John Lennon. Free As A Bird and Real Love both became very, very popular.
Of course, we're talking about Queen here, so it may not be worth doing. New material from Bri and Rog would be great, though!
Hey look everybody, I just found this audio and written interview with Roger Taylor and he states that the next thing they will be doing is...A studio album and live work.
What does Roger mean by live work? Another tour? On television?
Heres the link to the interview: link
It's written and audio. Click on the small arrow saying 'play interview'.
i do remember brian talking about material they did years ago and put it on the shelve, so to speak, but recently brian talked about doing something with the songs. so we could be hearing music with freddie and john again.
this is old news. during the break between japan shows and this north american leg Greg Brooks shown Brian and Roger some stuff he is compiling for the box sets. and, as Greg told us on a Q&A sessions on the official board they found some very good stuff that could end up being worked by Roger and Brian FOR the box sets(but Greg didn't excluded and album and some singles - he even said he believe some of the songs can end up on the top of the single charts!!).
Roger's interview is from November 2004

Forgive me, but what is gestolpert? New material from his throat, now thats funny! Mind you, so are the singing photographs
Yes I loved Made In Heaven and yes further Freddie helmed songs, redone by Queen would be great... However, at this point I would rather them just release what's there, as is in the "Someday One Day" box sets, and instead let's see Brian and Roger do a new album with Paul, or if that's not possible, with out Paul. Posthumous work was the only hope for future Queen back in the 90's. Now there is a hope for a new evolution, even if it's without Freddie.
That being said, I can't wait to one day hear the Queen version of "Man Made Paradise".
If you stumble over a singing photograph you have to release it. That's the law, I think...?
Anyway: If it's Brian and Roger working with Freddie's material - let me hear it! Of course they should release it! Don't you want to hear? And if it's not good it's not good. But if it's good it's good! Am I right or am I right? I'm right... Right?

Literal translation = "stumbled".
