Heres my story...it happend 2 years before I even knew there was a band Queen. I was in my room about to turn on my tv [it was off,OBVIOUSLY] and then I see a little man just walking sort of fast in the center left hand corner of the TV screen. I was kind of...freaked out becuase how in the world could I see a person walking IN my television when its off? It just kept on walking, it was very small, like a little action figure. It was walking in the same place...legs moving but not going anywhere. Anyone know the Invisible Man video? Well now I've noticed that the little man I saw in my television was in the EXACT same spot as Freddie in the Invisible Man video, even walking the same way. I just find that freaky. AND NO I AM NOT PHYCO ! |

Unfortunately I didn´t meet him too but I was in Budapest in the summer 85, if I would be there a one year later so MAYBE I would meet someone from the band on the street. |

I haven't met any of the band before. The closest I came to Brian was touching the glass of the framed Fender Strat he signed on the wall in Captain America's yesterday. My dad said I should ask how much it's worth, come up with the money and make an offer they can't refuse! |

I met Freddie a couple of years ago - there was a film crew there and everything. I said "Hey Freddie! Holy shit, you're not dead!" Freddie said "No, I'm actually Sacha Baron Cohen, and I'm getting ready to do a Borat skit, so if you'll excuse me..." I wasn't buying it, so I kept on at him until he relented and gave me an autograph - it reads "Yo, pisshead. You eva come back 'ere, I is gonna kick ya head in. Keepin' it real - Ali G" I don't know what that means, but I sure was glad I'd finally met Freddie. What a guy! |

Well, to be honest, I haven't met him during his lifetime on earth. But, if meeting him AFTER his earthly death counts, well, then, the answer is YES INDEED! I know this will sound outlandish to many of you Queen fans out there, but to be honest, I know what has happened, and I am the only one who has to be the judge of me. However, I would love to share my story with anyone who loves Freddie, because his intent is to let every one of you know that he is not all dead and gone. He's still around us every day. Life goes on after we seemingly die. Death is not an end; it is a new and exciting beginning, and one that should not be feared. You see, Freddie (in spirit) came to me whilst I was very sick with pneumonia back in 2003. I had heard of Queen and had even heard some of their music, but I wasn't what you would call a Queen fan at all. I didn't even know any of the names of the members of Queen -- not even Freddie! After his initial visit to let me know that I would pull through my illness, I found myself almost constantly surrounded by his loving presence. Since then, he has been a major inspiration with music. I've always been musically inclined, but somehow I could never compose a song. Well, he's helped me with that, and now writing songs is so easy for me, it's unbelievable. Most of my songs come to me FULLY FORMED. All I have to do is write them all down and then try to play them on my piano, or learn to memorize the music I hear in my mind. I have a website dedicated to Freddie and his fans, at link, and my story of Freddie's spirit and myself can be found on the page called, "Famous Haunting: My Love Affair with the Spirit of Freddie Mercury." Believe me when I say that, if anyone has ever encountered the spirit of Freddie in one form or another, they will be so touched by his loving presence in their lives that they will never be the same again. Indeed, it is a love affair, if not "love" in the sense of romantic love, then in the sense of kindred spirits and all that jazz, you know ... that kind of love. To those of you who are cynical to this subject, to you I say this: Hey -- it's a kind of magic... Much love, Phoenix |

Much love, PhoenixWOW.... I'm not cynical at all to all this, infact I believe and love it. I have had people who have met Freddie in dreams and in their thoughts and I'm totally amazed and interested about it all. Freddie is still very much around us and he is a caring spirt. He's a true angel. :-) |

I got to meet the whole band in 1977 they were touring dallas tx, houston. they were great, so full of enthusiasim, and freddie with such a dry wit, he was a beautifull person, i got to see them again in 1982, dallas, a fireball he had such wonderfull moves he glided on stage, I think in those days in the 70's and 80's the usa, did not know how to take them, but i loved them from the get go, i was 22 when i first saw their concert and meet them, now i am 53 and love them more, Freddie was a true gentle person, shy but a true gentleman and so smart, i truly admired him, and still do, i was lucky. i also got a drumstick from led zepplin when they played vegas in 1968 0r 69 but it was signed by all.just a little trivia there....lol |
