The only people who think Jimi Hendrix was a technical virtuoso are those who only see him as an icon and have never really listened to his music (or any other guitar-based music, for that matter). This is what I've noticed, anyway. Therefore, I find that any time Jimi Hendrix is regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in history by an _informed_ consensus (which is often the case), he is not being overrated.
On a side note, the video unfortunately isn't working for me.

He is not the most outstanding player, technically, the world has ever seen, but no one can deny that his technique was extremely good, especially considering the fact that the electric guitar was only just being developed as an independant instrument from the acoustic one, instead of just an amplified version.

You're a sexually frustrated moron who needs to put others down in order to feel better about himself. You've had the education of a two-week old pig, judging from your posts, so I think that qualifies me as the more knowledgeable here.
