He played for a few moments after he came back. Shook his head and handed it off to the official Red Special handler. I watched him make a few adjustments and give it back. It is fine.
Yes, the 'Ol' Girl" is fine. Brian opened the show in Worcester last night with her, and used Ol' Red through most of the show in the usual spots.
Thank the Gods it was not damaged...!

Thanks guys. Just saw Brian's soapbox:
"...a couple of rum chords in Bad Co, owing to trauma to the guitar .... ! But it will survive too ....whatever doesn't kill you makes you .....ROCK !!"
Brian has bruised ribs. Glad it was not more serious, as I'm sure he would have kept playing regardless.

CORRECTION
Brian did not have/use the Red Special to open the show in Worcester.
Masterstroke...are you sure?
I am positive it was Red and not one of the copies. The Ol' girl had a major restoration last year, so you can't go by looks anymore.
That sound that was coming out during the TYMD was without a doubt the "real thing". It was there that night...trust me! :)

Thanks for not damaging them too much...you left some for me!! LOL
That whole incident had to freak paul out as well--the look on his face would have been interesting to see. I bet he was NOT smiling

Okay, I stand corrected. The back of the body used to be pretty worn.
... the most reliable detail to recognise the original guitar is the sixpence glued to the headstock ...
There are also two small "Another World" stars, one on the lower part of the pickguard (near the pickup switches) and one somewhere down the fretboard.
