I like there song's HEAD OVER HILLS, SHOUT, and EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD...but as far as that, I dont know anymore songs by them...did they just have one-hit album...?? Here goes the video for Head over heals...they used it in this movie called "Donnie Darko" back in 2001 W/ Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal in it...and I've LOVED it everysince!!! The rapper Nas also sampled EVERYBODY ONCE TO RULE THE WORLD for a rap single that he did, forgot which song!? I love that 80's new wave sound...I'm a sucka for it, lol!!! |
Sherwood Forest 10.03.2006 23:26 |
i love all of their songs, good job they are one of my all time favorites so many memories with those songs |

OMG...you are 16!!! I'm 23, most of the people that I chat with in here are no older than 25!! Man, its good that you guys appreciate good quailty music...I wish I could say the same for my brother, lol!! I was actually born in 1983...when the new wave stuff had been out for a while, I love that really tuned-out sound of new wave...I'm a real sucka for it...and everyone makes fun of me, cause I like that kinda of music, but to be real with you, I like a little bit of everything!! One of my other favorite songs: Level 47's There's something about you!!! I love that song!!! |
Sherwood Forest 10.03.2006 23:37 |
aha actually i havent chages that yet :S, im 15 not 16 lol. Yea well i am at Queenzone aren't I, i think my great taste in music would be a give in ! ;) :D yea i like a bit of everything like i hate the idea of what rap stands for and the angry lyrics but i have it on my ipod, a few songs, probably about 5-7 songs of rap, you know just for that cachy bade beat n stuff. One thing i do not listen to is the heavy metal, i wont take that. Otherwise yea i Love 60's, 70's-80's music. and some 50's actually |
RETROLOVE 10.03.2006 23:41 |
Yeah, well, I wish I was 15 or 16 again, would have did a lot of things more different!! I kinda miss being in High school, but high school was hell for me, had a hard time "fitting in" lol!! |

I love most of the "Songs from the Big chair" serious, they wrote some great songs, the lyrics are fantastic. I love every one wants to rule the world. a little side note, Freddie was quite the fan as well, there is some interview where he talks about new bands (1985 I think) |

Yeah, Jamie, I'm from Milwaukee...I stay close to Brown deer area, the falls, etc...like the far north side, the "Valley" lol!! But its still Milwaukee where I live! I almost hit a deer the other night, like last Sunday, when it was snowing...scary!!! And the poor deer looked so outta place, and so confused, it was very scary! But it was a beautiful day today, like almost 50 degrees, lol!!! |

No...I should, but I'm not a big fan of concerts...lol, plus no one would want to go with me anyways, family, friends, etc... The funny thing, is that I used to work at the Bradley Center (aka the BC) in the coat check room, basically all you do, is sit on your ass all night, and check in coats, but after whatever starts (the game, concert, etc) your pretty much free to do what you want...and if I was still working there, I would have gotten to SEE THEM FOR FREEEEEEE!!! I already have seen a lot of other concerts for free, and I actually got paid for it, lol!! Arent the tickets expensive anywho? |
RETROLOVE 11.03.2006 00:23 |
I'll probably get the DVD!! I'd sooooo nervous to meet them, I'd probably throw up or something, lol!!! |

I saw "the rock the mic tour" back in 03', and it was sooooo hilarious. It was a rap concert W/Fabulous, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z...well, when Snopp Dogg came out...you could tell he was high outta his mind!! He did a couple of songs, and then he was talking to the crowd about how he said he was gonna give up smoking weed, but of course, he was lying!!! Then he started saying: Get drunk, get high, get fuckkkked up!!! (Over and Over again) and people were actually smoking weed in the crowds at the BC, and that suppose to be A SMOKE FREE PLACE, at least in the arena, lol...and the ushers were trying to throw people out, but it was tooooo late, people started fighting n'shit...it was soooo hilarious!!! |

"Tears Roll Down" is the name of it, I think. It's a good collection. "Change," "Woman In Chains," "Sowing The Seeds Of Love," and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" are their best songs, IMO. |
