Ok for anyone who has met Roger and Brian either this year or last after a show at their hotel...how long after the show did you have to wait for them to show up? I'm just curious...
Cheers

Not sure if this counts but at Miami, I hung out behind the arena and met Brian and Paul as their limos were leaving. Paul left about 45 minutes after the show. Roger left about 30 minutes after that (but he wouldnt stop to sign autographs, said his window couldnt go down). Brian left about 2-2.5 hours after the show.
Do you actually know what hotel they are staying at?
Heh heh...i love Roger....
"Me window won't go down...sorry!"
You just have to love em'.....
Ms Farenheit...tell us more about your experience if you could. It's always interesting to hear other people's stories regarding their experiences with the Band.
Thanks for sharing...!
July 2nd, 2005, LISBON.
After the show some fans who won a radio competition went backstage for the "meet and greet". I wasn't one of those "lucky bastards".
So that night I decided to create my own luck. A friend of mine had a tip that the band was staying in 1 of 3 possible hotels... so I took a logical guess and headed for that particular hotel.
10 minutes driving, I stoped at the entrance of the hotel, no-one on the street (it's a very quiet zone). Me and a friend waited for 10 minutes. First limo came, it was ROGER, Jim Beach and Rog's girl.
Being a drummer, seeing "in loco" my all time hero, my existence stoped. :)
I then changed my t-shirt into a regular shirt and entered the lobby like I owned the hotel :))
He was at the bar, so me and my friend approached and HAD A DRINK WITH THE MAN!!! 10 minutes of sheer pleasure. No photos, no autographs, just a good conversation. Before he got bored, I left (it's always good to leave on a high note).
I met my hero and he was truly cool and nice (not diplomatic like Brian).
When leaving the hotel, I met Brian on the entrance door. We chated for 2 minutes. He was nice, diplomatic and surprised to see us there. I had one of the best nights of my life.
:)

Hello,
I was at the jacksonville Gig and let me tell you, the security personnel is really "secure". No way to have not even a smile from them, of course not information about their schedule.
The only thing I can tell you is if you want to have something from them in the avenue, don't go after the show (I was able to get into Brian's change room but he had already left!!), you better go before the show trying to catch them before the sound check. They arrived 3 hours before and there were almost nobody outside (just 6 fans). They waved at us and maybe we could have asked them to stop and have some nice pics from them.. we were too shocked for that!
