It is indeed.
This picture was taken during the filming of the Pepsi Advert where Britney, Pink and Beyonce dressed up as gladiators and performed a version of We Will Rock You.
Brian and Roger appeared as members of the crowd watching them in the video.
The last line of my previous post should have said they were in the video as part of the crowd, rather than in a crowd watching the video.
There are CD's available produced by Pepsi with their version of We We Rock You and the video clip/advert. If you search somewhere like ebay you should be able to find one. Pink Beyone and Britney sing a verse each. Not the best version of We Will Rock You I have heard but quite nice viewing.
I don't really want to advertise as I don't know anything about the person selling these on ebay, but follow the link for an idea of what is out there. They are enhanced CDs rather than DVDs. link
I just noticed there is also someone selling a photo of Brian and Roger with Pink, Britney and Beyonce.
I believe around the time the advert appeared on TV they all turned up at one of the performances of the WWRY musical in London as a pepsi promotion thing. I guess this picture was taken at the show or aftershow party. link
Again, don't know anything about the seller of this but just a bit on extra info on the same subject.
I think Brian made some comments on his website about the Pepsi Promo night at the Dominion saying he would not let it happen again. I think the show was actually changed to highlight the pepsi sponsership just for that night.
Non of them perfomed they just got up on the stage afterwards I believe, but was not there so don't know what really happen. I am sue there are a couple of people on this board who may have attended that night.
Mr Mercury wrote: technically speaking it is official since it was released on CD, as previously stated in this thread. I got mines for nothing when I went to KFC once.
I think the CDs were promos rather than a commercially available release, which might make a difference as far as the Queenzone posting rules go. Or not. I don't know.
John Deacon thankfully sat the Pepsi commercial out. At least Deaky didn't subject himself to appear with the Identity Crisis star(Pink), the primadonna Diva(Beyonce) and Devil's Child(whom is now the poster hcild of bad parenting Britney). John retired in 1999 and I think said to himself, "blasphemous to Freddie's memory".
Wow...I didnt expect for my forum to get this big...
Roger looks really pissed off in the picture, like I dont feel like being here and doing this shit...lol, (guess that picture was snapped when he wasnt ready), and Brian looks like OMG I'm touching britney spears!!!!
I know if it was me standing next to them, along with John and Freddie(RIP) I'd have mad butterflies in my stomach, and probably be crying in the pic...dont know why but thats what I'd do, lol...

Okay...I'm trying to understand what you are saying here...if it was John's choice to retire, and not do the pepsi commerical, more power to him...but I dont think it was "blasphemous," for them, Brian and Roger, to let Pink, Britney, and Beyonce do the commerical along with Enquire Igaisis, however the heck you spell his name, if anything, its giving RESPECT to them for the music. We dont know what Freddie would have thought of the commerical, because he's gone now, but HE'S NOT FORGOTTEN. But what is Brian and Roger suppose to do, can you answer that? Theres a point where you grieve, but then theres a point where you have to move on, and their simply just "moving on."(Thats really tough to say, cause Freddie was very special, and I'm pretty sure that they grieved for a long time). I dont feel that they sold out or anything, plus Brian wrote the song, so thats giving it a seal of approval, since he was actually there in the commerical. I dont feel that they have sold out, because of the tour also.
It's no ones fault that Freddie past away, not even his own fault. But I will say this, cause this is one thing I cant deny: FREDDIE WAS THE "LIFE" OF THAT BAND, BUT HE COULDNT DO IT ALL ALONE, and I think every memeber of the group had something special to offer, thats why I like them as a whole not just as one.
Oh-and for the record, Beyonce, Pink, and Britney HAVE talent. I'm not a big fan of Britney, and while she doesnt have a strong voice, she can dance; she aint famous for no reason, but PARIS HILTON is famous no reason, lol. I dont know how the hell they are in their personal lives, (diva, personailty issues, etc). But I know that they are talented...cause the music industry is tough and its no joke, they wouldnt be here for nothing.
